@ZackSilver11 @BrushEmBack Baker can give up earned runs. The team cannot be charged with an earned run, but Baker can, that’s what a team unearned run is.

It happens when a pitcher gives up a team unearned run, which is unearned to the team because the inning should have been over, but earned to the pitcher because a relief pitcher doesn't get the benefit of previous errors prior to his entry into the game.

Batters 1, 2, and 3 are unearned to Abbott. Batter 4 is TEAM unearned. It's unearned to the team because the inning should have been over (three errors), but it's earned to Baker because he doesn't get the benefit of those previous errors. Batter 4's run has nothing to do with the errors as far as Baker goes.
That's how that can happen.

@ScoringChanges Without the error he may not have even entered the game! Would have been a 3 up 3 down inning and the other pitcher starts the next inning clean. Or they use a different pitcher to start the next inning clean based on matchup.

The lesson here is the opposite I expect.
The people who's limit is 4:03 are showing up here at 4:10 having blown up from going too fast chasing sub-4.
Nobody who couldn't run a 4 hour marathon is running one on a deadline, but lots of folks who could run 3:52 are pacing themselves for 3:59 instead.
I've been the guy who blew up and lost 15-25 mins chasing 4 multiple times, and later chasing 3:30.

Every tanker that pays in yuan instead of dollars establishes a precedent. Every precedent weakens the petrodollar architecture that has governed energy trade since 1974. The IRGC is not just blocking a strait. It is building an alternative payment rail under live fire. The $2 million toll in yuan is not a fee. It is a proof of concept for a post-dollar energy settlement system, stress-tested in the most extreme conditions imaginable: a three-front war with the world’s largest military.
