One hypocrisy I generally observe in all high rise eco friendly societies 1) They strictly do not allow clothes to hung in balcony for drying.. Some even slap fines upto ₹500 a day 2) They do all unnecessary expenditure like solar water heaters and dedicated plumbing infra (which is not effective in highrise during peak in sunlight and forget about evening and night) .. Sun is the best source to dry our clothes...instead if we will be forced to use washing machine cum stream dryer which use electricity,, then what's the point calling ourself green society? Hence Saving energy should not be compromised for temporary day time aesthetics as long as it's not creating mental or physical nuisances within gated community.

This will become a trend in prime projects of India. Hung clothes on a balcony hurt the visual appeal of a building. It’s already a factor in determining if a building is of the “classes or masses.” Initially there will be resistance. Then most will fall-in-line

Silence for a year now. Central Railway Mumbai Divisional Railway Manager Hiresh Mina has boycotted the media for over a year now. He has not been speaking to journalists at all despite multiple attempts at all levels. Occupying one of the most critical public-facing roles in a city where the suburban railway network is the lifeline, the absence of any media engagement raises serious questions. The DRM is the administrative head of the division—and is accountable to millions of daily commuters who rely on transparent communication. He has been meeting activists and politicians but has effectively kept the media away for over a year now since he took charge. In a metropolis like Mumbai, where railways are deeply embedded in everyday life, such sustained silence from the top undermines public trust. Heading the railways in a city like Mumbai and not speaking to the media reflects a worrying shift in public accountability. Can a person heading the system that moves millions daily afford to remain this disconnected? Appeal to him to get along and speak

दिल्ली के सभी एनिमल लवर्स को बताना चाहती हूँ कि सरकार ने 13 के 13 जिलों में Society for Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals initiative

Beast uncle wants perpetual funding for his business model, MCD pays ₹1,000 per dog for sterlisation to NGOs, approx ₹65.2 crore was paid to NGOs in Delhi since 2021, but stray dog population increased to over 10 Lakh in Delhi
Beast Adhiraj@BeastAdhiraj

@Uncaredcitizen In this the NGOs do their best to sterilize dogs but the NGOs do not always collect donations for sterilization of dogs as NGOs need funds for medical care, medicines, foods, building repair etc. ABC centers are only up for sterilization it means they are not working properly.

Suddenly there is an alarming medical emergency in Bangladesh . Measles is spreading at an alarming rate. Scores of children have already died . No vaccination has been carried out in the past . To save the Children in Bangladesh and prevent its spread into North Eastern States and West Bengal , both India and WHO must step in forthwith .

Hopefully she will start procurement tenders on GEM portal... Currently politicians, and lower municipal officers have full control and monopoly over it... No outsider is allowed,,, even if some outsider comes L1 then tender gets cancelled.. Hopefully shifting procurement and AMC contracts to GEM portal.

Congratulations to @AshwiniBhide as the BMC Commissioner. After T. Chandrashekhar in Thane & RC Sinha in Mumbai who served in the 1990's/2000's - she is the only bureaucrat with a top record in execution. May she overcome the political-contractor nexus and get the job done.

I have done basic homework, collected information . These areas already have piped lines , apartments are covered. Coverage is listed in their portal itself Issue is - communication connect. Where are the hot lines ? Where are the responses ? Whybis that IVRS lines are not responsive . With this kind of structures, systems, how can you give 3 months deadline. We have only one approved service provider whose head office is in Gujarat. Even no contact numbers listed there in their portal too.
