so ur telling me trump, the sitting president of the usa, threatened the pope, the pope said, "check urself before you wreck yourself", and in retaliation trump ai imaged itself as Jesus...? And THEN Iran said, "Mr. pope and co. that's fucked up. not even we would do that bc Jesus is holy. sorry u have 2 deal with this".
this is the timeline i live in. THIS IS THE TIMELINE I LIVE IN?!

@Her_Nonymous_D I don’t recall noticing anyone wearing an eyepatch in the last 15 years. But when my daughter was 3, we saw six different eyepatch-wearing people in the span of a month. She was CONVINCED they were pirates and got louder and more excited every time.

Today at the grocery store, I was reminded, once again that toddlers are not on your side. At all. 😭
I was just standing there, minding my business, trying to decide what soda to get. You know, normal, peaceful, adult things. I casually go, “Hmm… I don’t like those.”
Next thing I know, my 3-year old points boldly, confidently, and LOUDLY at the only two people in the aisle and asks:
“Why do you not like those people?”
My soul left my body.
I’m scrambling, “Not the PEOPLE! The sodas! I don’t like the sodas!” 😩
But at that point, it didn’t even matter. Those already people heard. I heard. Even God heard it too. The embarrassment settled in permanently.
And the worst part? This child had the audacity to just stand there like he said something completely reasonable. No remorse. No hesitation. Just vibes.
But wait, because this is clearly a pattern.
Last week at the farmers market, we were standing around waiting for my husband to come back from the bathroom. Everything was calm. Peaceful. I was enjoying the moment.
Out of nowhere, my 3-year old locks eyes with a random elderly man across from us, points, and asks…

@PrettyLiesAlibi Just did that with 19yo at @FamousFootwear on Monday lol

@ReciprocitEye @astro_Pettit Better to be pissed off than pissed on

@astro_Pettit They must be seriously pissed about this.

The Collapsable Contingency Urinal (CCU) now being used on Artemis 2 after a toilet malfunction. Essentially an open container (reusable, sealable, and drainable) that controls the urine-air interface using capillary forces like my Space Cup does coffee. When you are in cislunar space with a broken toilet, you need contingencies and the CCU replaces the need for about 25 pounds of diapers.

@JohnnyBCCB @adottodn @EternianBorn @HQNewsNow The linked document lists out, under each department, programs being reduced or eliminated and includes the dollar amount affiliated with each. Everything I’ve looked at so far matches up with the “assertions” listed in the post.
English

@adottodn @EternianBorn @HQNewsNow Does that really support these assertions or not? I’m honestly curious. You’re just linking the budget but it would take a lot of research to compare these proposals to the current expenditure on each.

@dmesg @MsBlueLipstick @tonyposnanski Maybe we didn’t watch it on one of the big three, but my kids watched the last launch of Discovery live while sitting/laying in little chairs flat on the ground (trying to be like astronauts lol). And I definitely watched Challenger live; was in middle school
English

@MsBlueLipstick @tonyposnanski That was true in the early 80s. But the last Shuttle launch that got broadcast live on the networks was the first Discovery launch in 1984. It's literally why psychologists use this as an example of mass false memory.

@ChefReactions @HarneyTea Hot Cinnamon tea, especially when it’s chilly out

@ph43701 @mary_stapleto @dcpetterson Glad for you. I’m helping a young adult whose home life hasn’t been great. The hoops to jump through to get state ID & replacement SS card are ridic. She can’t get SS card online, must go in person. Day of appt is blizzard. Next appt 3months out. Can’t get bank acct without ID.
English

@mary_stapleto @dcpetterson Nope - I did it online, I have not set foot in a SS office in 50+ years and I'm mid 70s. Had Medicare card re-issued also.

@SquidyUK I stumbled upon his wedding photo session in Central Park back in ‘99; thanks for reminding me!

@onepeloton 6/9/21 10 min barre with Hannah. Don’t ever delete it!

@ogtomvalenzuela @airport_girl @nazzobetweeting I know it’s a typo/autocorrect, but all I can picture is a turkey in a brining bag all snug in a roasting pan. In the overhead bin 🦃 🤭

@airport_girl @nazzobetweeting Amen!!! I'd put whatever I am brining in up there. Don't care if it is a suit case or backpack or whatever!!!

@CheribirdCanFly @hell_line0 I say “Not today bladder, not today!”
English

@hell_line0 Is there some kind of sound trick I can use so that I can win the race to the toilet when I need to pee?
English

Make a stupid sound when you unplug the straightener or hot tool. Then you can remember unplugging it cause the vocal stim releases dopamine.
This is a well known Japanese technique called Shisa Kanko and it totally works!!!!
bella@dollyqwe1
Drop a neurodivergent tip below that actually works for you.. Not the stuff they tell you in therapy. The real stuff you figured out yourself 👈
English

@hell_line0 Ahhhh. I do a funny little dance or strike a goofy pose. I think I usually accompany it with narration of *why* I’m doing it, lol. (“I’m stomping my feet here to remember I put the dog’s harness and leash in this cabinet!”)
English

@GuyIncognito665 @joolsd Oh man I was home from middle school for lunch and my mom had this on 😬 We were both so confused and then she lunged for the tv, telling me to go to the kitchen.
