Today at the grocery store, I was reminded, once again that toddlers are not on your side. At all. 😭 I was just standing there, minding my business, trying to decide what soda to get. The Collapsable Contingency Urinal (CCU) now being used on Artemis 2 after a toilet malfunction. Essentially an open container (reusable, sealable, and drainable) that controls the urine-air interface using capillary forces like my Space Cup does coffee. When you are in cislunar space with a broken toilet, you need contingencies and the CCU replaces the need for about 25 pounds of diapers.

She can’t get SS card online, must go in person. Day of appt is blizzard. Next appt 3months out. Can’t get bank acct without ID.

Lots of people's social & romantic lives could be vastly improved if it was normal for young adults to live in college dorm-style accommodation in city centres until they were ready to set up home properly. Why doesn't this exist? I think there would be a market for it!

Make a stupid sound when you unplug the straightener or hot tool. Then you can remember unplugging it cause the vocal stim releases dopamine. This is a well known Japanese technique called Shisa Kanko and it totally works!!!!
