@its_voss I was once lost inside Karura while jogging with friends who happened to be faster than me, 9pm found me in there, the place is dark at night with funny noises, lucky enough, I knew there were no animals that could feed on me.

Do KFS/KWS rangers patrol Karura after dark to rescue people who might not have made it out before dark? I was still in the forest at 7pm & its a miracle I found my way out😭😭😭

@njokikaranjak It’s wild how guys think it’s impossible to get lost in there. It’s huge with many pathways. Hopefully giza haikukupata huko ndani.

@its_voss Early last year i got lost( gate F) that has very few people .. I had crossed the river bridge 4 times when i finally saw a guy with his son after almost an entire hour of trying to trace my way out. it is very possible to get lost in Karura😪

@SonofGeppetto @its_voss 🤣 🤣. We were hiking down in the dark with our poor mzungu friend injured and hyenas trailing us. It was a little scary but quite exciting at the same time. We got to the gate and the KWS ranger lady was like “You made it? Someone told us they saw a python on the way down”😳

@its_voss Got lost with my 1st date after successfully passing through talking stage with flying colors; ujauji yangu made us get lost well past 7pm luckily a star miraculously led us to ile gate ya Gaca something or closer! That's how my love story ended-prematurely!

@its_voss last time i went to longonot i had taken a group of 3 ladies tuliianza kupanda mlima 4.. 7pm we were still huko juu kwa mlima.. tunafika kwa gate past 8 almost 9.. kwa hio trail we never spotted a ranger.. Wonder mtu akitaka kukufanyia kitu they can also dump you kwa crater

@SakataTwo The issue is the distance. I was at the Kiambu gate side trying to get to the Limuru gate side. They are on opposite ends of the forest.

@its_voss But with Google Maps you can't get lost! Find your location then enter where you want to come out at.....easy peasy!!
