@PremLeaguePanel Sigh. Your suggestion that Spurs have negotiated a deal to potentially pay north of, say, 15m to 20m in compensation upon relegation is nonsense. There will be at least some safeguard to protect them from a payout that they could not afford *if* relegated. That’s the point.

@PremLeaguePanel Again, silly. There’s no “if” - there almost certainly will be. Spurs will have also factored in and negotiated the compensation payable in the event that relegation occurs to avoid “bust”. It’s very obviously the best move they could have made in the short and medium terms

Questioning the LFC ticket price rise is valid, although I’m puzzled at how many times I’ve seen the word ‘greed’ used. FSG have never taken a penny out of the club in 15 years. As far as I can see no individuals will benefit financially from the rise, so how is it ‘greed’?

Since Pep became manager of Barcelona only Barcelona, Chelsea, and Bayern, have won the CL twice. Think pieces around Pep’s supposed underachievement in the tournament are all just noise. It’s a knock out tournament that’s very difficult to win. Madrid are outliers.
