As bad as we want a starting 4 in Detroit via trade, what realistic options are there???
And I say “realistic” as in don’t name me a player that we know a team isn’t likely going to move.
Attaining starting 4s, especially the type we want in Detroit, is hard.

I actually like Powell more than Herro when you consider not giving up picks and dealing with an extension.
Maybe 3/$75 but with partial guarantees or year 3 non guaranteed. A structure similar to Duncan would be great.
Lower ceiling but still an improvement.

The big takeaway here is that both the Bulls and Nets just spent their way out of a max offer to Austin Reaves.
Now, Detroit can get to max space for Reaves if they really want to, but this probably eases some pressure on the Lakers to go ALL the way up to the max.
