Pretty much every person in media that covers racing does it because they are passionate about it and want to see racing thrive because they can earn more elsewhere.
I always find it hilarious when people throw out this notion of "chasing clicks" when it's almost never true.

@BoziTatarevic It’s in the medias best interest long term to help grow the sport in partnership with the drivers, teams, NASCAR, etc. Media loves short term interest of clicks though, and that does get tiring for fans who want the sport to truly grow.

at church on Sunday our pastor talked a lot about how "be not afraid" is a repeated message in scripture but sadly we did not get into my theory that this is because a biblically accurate angel, even if it is telling you the Lord has risen, is TERRIFYING

Trying to think of books where the film adaptation is considered vastly superior in quality. An odd one would probably be The Bridges of Madison County which consistently is picked as one of Clint's best directed films but the novel is usually considered mediocre at best
