Flashback: Truly some of the grossest sneakers ever made, which received high praise at the time
I know @magnumdong1992 was fiending

@DisgracedProp If you want to argue that the comedy is being used as a Trojan horse so the underlying message doesn’t face scrutiny, I’ll hear you out - but there is no way a man puts on a hat like that without realizing that he’s about to become a joke
English

What the regime does so incredibly well is managed decline, meaning, they ratchet down quality of life bit by bit, but make each ratchet down cool and desirable. Decrepit becomes sexy. Living on credit becomes distinctly a part of the American struggle. They create the portrait of a sexy rebel being held down by the man, even though they are the man doing the holding down.
To avoid this, they create a phantom "the man," in this instance non-existent white WASPY RW billionaires (see eg One Battle After Another), to point the finger that, that exists somewhere off in the distance, barely visible but obviously evil.

@escapefrommelos Guy filming sounds hysterical. What’s up with that? You’d think he’d get used to it at some point

@RonwellQDobbs @AwfulFitPics Why would I lie about this lol - never mentioned him before so no idea why I would’ve already been blocked
English

@sumerassociate @AwfulFitPics Do you really expect anyone to believe this?
English

@AwfulFitPics Fashion bro will drop in and say this is actually a fire fit because of the complex history of textiles or some shit

@Empty_America Bar isn’t particularly hard - CA which is considered the “hardest” bar has a +80% (ballpark) pass rate if you only look at takers that went to accredited schools
English

It is funny (but not surprising) that the law largely exempted itself from the DEI era.
I'm aware of no real exceptions or preferences on the bar exam, which is the literal "bar" to ever actually practicing.
This of course is the credential held by many/most lawmakers.

“The LSAT/bar/law school finals don’t reflect the work you do every day as a lawyer.” Correct, but they do identify who has both the intelligence and ability to lock in.

@simeydotme @IMAO_ It’s not for sweat (and also not for fashion, as some have guessed) - the mystery remains…
English

@sumerassociate @IMAO_ Idek what I'm looking at here... Can't you just put a feminine hygiene sanitary napkin under your arm
English

@maribooboo7 @reset_by_peer If you use a supercharger and you have a newer EV it can get up to 80% in under 15 minutes

Both parties are working tirelessly to make this technology illegal in United States because they hate you and want you to suffer.

@disclosetv Forgot to mention, it's literally a crime not to register for selective service as a man. Now you don't automatically become a criminal for not having done something. Yay

@GeringerAdam Camouflaged machines, scurrying about in silence. Very sinister. What are they up to when we’re not watching? No thanks

@LandsharkRides We need to get to the bottom of a scary man vs scared man. A world of difference
