@PeterDiamandis @elonmusk Yes. That is great. Having money is fantastic, I'm sure many would agree that having it solves a lot of problems, but this scenario doesn't address the issue of purpose. Ppl need purpose. It is essential. Bored folks with money and no purpose self destruct. Its our nature.
English

ELON MUSK:
“We’re going to have universal high income.
We’ll basically just issue money to people."
"AI and robots are going to make so much stuff and provide so many services that they’ll run out of things to do for humans."
"Money will stop being relevant at some point in the future."
"AI won’t use human currency. It will care about power and mass: wattage and tonnage.”
ME:
“So just as you’re becoming a multi-trillionaire, money starts to have less value?”
ELON:
“Yeah, pretty much.”

@PharmacyPodcast @bornahousecat22 The pharmacist is not my doctor and has no clue about my medical history

You ever gets those patients you just wish you could hug? Poor elderly woman is going through a lot (husband has cancer & dementia & she is 87 and sole caregiver) and I just wanted to give her some encouragement. Breaks my heart. #twitterx

#WhyYourPharmacistHatesYou
You bring me a an Rx with a future date on it. I hate you, and your stupid law-breaking doctor.
English

@aliewaite @Ron_Rives @MxHedroom @neontaster Sorry just curious about this, is this only in certain states? Never heard of this
English

@Ron_Rives @MxHedroom @neontaster Hahaha! Nope- he’s still covered under our employer-sponsored plans, but we are no longer given access to any of his records online, and technically he can make decisions without our consent if he wants. Best part is of course I’m still responsible for his copays.
English

@OverheardRX Do it. Even if you get tired of the commute, stay for as long as you can and then leverage that experience to get a clinical job closer to home. I've been in retail 14 years and I think it would have been easier to switch to clinical when I was a recent grad.

@HarryButtman @vjpdavis @Lemechiel17 @WattyMoods @trishtweety Someone else who is a believer may pray her prayer after reading the tweet. It's not that hard.

@jhaselmanFNP @nopatience4pts Yep all Walmarts have this sign and have removed all prometh products. Sad what the world has come to.
English

@nopatience4pts Walmart in a little town in VA has a huge sign at the pharmacy “ WE NO LONGER HAVE PHENERGAN WITH CODEINE”
English

@WafflesPharm Another benefit is being able to list it as a management position on your resume for when you finally get fed up and look for a new job 🤷♀️
English

Since $$ is the root of all evil and a yearly bonus is arguably the only benefit for being a pharmacy manager, is it safe to say being a pharmacy manager is a horrible job? I've been doing this for 20 years and I can't think of one positive attribute? #TwitteRx you got anything?
English

#TwitteRx, especially those employed by three letter - anyone interested in helping Dr. Hayworth gain a better understanding of why this step was necessary?
Nan Hayworth, M.D.@NanHayworth
.@cvspharmacy, why are you doing this? By all means give your team members a lunch break. But to shut down completely "for lunch" for 30 minutes every day inconveniences and disserves your customers. Please provide us with a rationale for this. And CVS competitors, take note.
English

@pharmacist_gerl That's awesome! Make sure you max out your 401k and then start a Roth IRA. Early retirement is every pharmacist's dream because this job is so draining. This is what I would say to my younger self btw. Been in retail going on 14 years now
English

@WafflesPharm After five minutes I would have said oh okay you're right. We're all out and can't get any more.
English

I just spent 20 minutes arguing with a patient that ½ and 0.5 are the same (syringes) culminating in him telling me, "I don't know where you went to school but you're a fuxxing idiot" ...
That my friends is the current state of affairs

@OCDProjectEDU @eatmydrugs This is a pretty unreasonable thing to require in a pharmacy, which would likely have thousands of stock bottles in its inventory, so yeah it kind of is. Just my opinion based on 14 years experience as a pharmacist. Probably not the only thing that manager is particular about.
English

@vtbeachbear @eatmydrugs I’m not sure that this sounds like OCD to me
English

@IngrahamAngle My house value has increased by $100,000 in the last year! How about yours? Wages are increasing, finally. Unemployment dropped over 4%. Overall, Wall Street is up, despite some dips. Masks are coming off as more ppl are vaccinated. Big investments in infrastructure and energy!
English

@cricket1339 Did they shorten the hours of the pharmacy? Not that that makes it okay just trying to understand why they'd decide to do such an awful thing
English

@MichaelPSenger Sounds very much like here in the U.S. once you refuse to get a credit card after graduating high school, you can't get loans, finance a vehicle or rent an apartment, regardless your income or how much money you have. I hate to defend them but China is just catching up.
English

Overview of China’s social credit system. “Hu was blacklisted. He only realized when he tried to buy a train ticket, and was told he was banned from traveling…Once you’re blacklisted, you can no longer get a bank loan, start a business, buy an apartment.”
