Tested the Gigabyte RTX 5090 AORUS MASTER now that HWINFO displays the GPU hot spot temperature on RTX 50 cards. I ran Furmark 2 for over 20 minutes with HWINFO recording the results. The GPU peaked at 73.9c for GPU temperature, 74c for GDDR7 junction temperature and 82.6c on the GPU hot spot. This is a delta of 8.7c, which is incredible. The RTX 50 AORUS MASTER cards use thermal putty for the VRAM and VRMs and they use liquid metal microcapsules for the GPU die. These are incredible results and there would be no benefit in trying to improve them. Hopefully other RTX 50 owners can chime in with their results.
