14 people telling a journalist they were raped is, imo, too many to dismiss. Especially in a society where shame/stigma around sexual assault is even greater than in the US. Incredible how many people just will. not. consider that their pre-existing view might be flawed.

Press restrictions lifted: Judge Johnson will next month sentence the four convicted Filton activists as "terrorists". Despite not being charged with "terrorism," Johnson secretly ruled that there was a "terrorist connection" due to the activists attempting to "influence" the Israeli government by restricting weapons sales! This will inevitably lead to higher sentences and the jury was forbidden from knowing about it. Until today, it was even illegal to report it.

AOC: I personally do not trust somebody like Marjorie Taylor Greene—a proven bigot and anti-semite—on the issues of what is good for Gazans and Israelis. I don’t think it benefits our movement to align with white nationalists.

This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape. Here's a gift link to the article: nytimes.com/2026/05/11/opi…

Today, the @nytimes chose to publish one of the worst blood libels ever to appear in the modern press. In an unfathomable inversion of reality, and through an endless stream of baseless lies, propagandist Nicholas Kristof turns the victim into the accused. Israel - whose citizens were the victims of the most horrific sexual crimes committed by Hamas on October 7, and whose hostages were later subjected to further sexual abuse - is portrayed as the guilty party. This publication is no coincidence. It is part of a false and well-orchestrated anti-Israel campaign aimed at placing Israel on the UN Secretary-General’s blacklist. Israel will fight these lies with the truth - and the truth will prevail.

Established media has recently had a lot to say about Calla Walsh, the pro-Palestinian rebel (in?)famous for an alleged raid on an Israeli defense manufacturer. Why did Calla do this? Their answers: online extremism? Eerie foreign influence by Iran? In his latest, T. E. Moon (@TEMoon333) argues that it might, however, be something else: the US political establishment’s total support and complicity for a genocide. The hysterics around Calla Walsh are just an attempt to avoid facing that. READ: geesemag.com/articles/dear-…

Current status of intra left wing politics

We weren't just trapped inside a displacement camp; we were imprisoned by terror and starvation. Outside, the sky rained fire, and the drones hovered like vultures, claiming the soul of anyone who dared to step into the street. Death wasn't a possibility; it was a certainty awaiting us.I took this photo while my heart was shattering. I looked at my brothers, and I saw "Karam ." He kept saying, "She's the one who's injured," meaning "me," and then he passed away. He was martyred by a shell at the classroom door, and my mother and brother were also injured. He wasn't crying with tears; his entire face was a scream of agony. His small, sunken eyes pierced through me, whispering, "I am hungry… please, do something." my family was the same, and my mother—bless her soul—tried to swallow her own hunger and fear just to keep us from falling apart. But the nightmare didn't end with hunger. Soon, the iron of the missiles found our fragile bodies. I was wounded, left to rot in my own helplessness. After a month of agonizing pain and fading hope, my brother Ismail passed away. He became a martyr, leaving behind that haunting look of hunger that I will carry to my grave. My other brother was injured, and my mother, too, became a canvas of scars—both on her body and in her shattered heart.I write these words today because I refuse to let our screams be buried in the silence of the world. I want you to look into our eyes and understand the cost of this war. This is not just a story; it is our blood, our hunger, and our stolen lives.Share this… let the world know that we existed, we suffered, and we are still here, bleeding but refusing to be forgotten. If you want to follow along, here's my link.(chuffed.org/project/mahmou…) I hope you will share my story. @martinez_j7902 @KlonnyPin_Gosch @willmenaker @_person23 @richimedhurst @Soren_Media @MenchOsint @brisofa @doctor_rahmeh @allthislouis91 @HannahBahloul @H4lotw @KingTherapy @LalehKhalili @SanaSaeed @SorchaBrazil @SaulWilliams @haza @gazafunds @foleywoley @CounsellingSam @ainiladra @Lamis_Deek @hanwayplace @DrAllyLouks @lsthart @LouisAlday40545 @giottodf @nada_che7 @zeusandliv4679 @clauci2nd @theafroaussie @zephycat229 @_Sweet_Parul_ @ireallyhateyou @Frances_Coppola @leylahamed
