Really interesting to observe how ppl react to drone warfare in Ukraine. The majority of the world has not encountered drone warfare, they still see war as something closer to WWII, so they don’t understand that this is how war is fought now. Bc of its novelty, it’s a “war crime”

American cities are very spread out often with more people living around the city than inside it, so houses and yards are bigger

@neosovietposter @isaiah_bb Germany got lucky in some ways, the french high command didn't use radio, so they reacted too slow. As I've seen pointed out though, the french gameplan was basically the same one the british and US army's won normandy with. Free French troops also generally did well.

@isaiah_bb The German military was designed for precisely the war they fought in France - inficting massive losses and making huge initial advances intended to cause a cascading collapse of the opposing military through loss of morale and cohesion. Kinda like the US military now in some way
