A truck driver from S.A has uploaded his receipt for diesel -to fill his tanks on his truck- $3500.00. But that’s not the worst part- which is he paid $635 excise and a further $318 in GST for that fuel- total of $953 in tax - Truck drivers are past breaking point

South Australian premier Peter Malinauskas told the @sydneyswans Gather Round Breakfast that he thinks it’s a terrible idea if the AFL hands an 18-team Opening Round to the northern states. “How many people are going to watch St Kilda play Freo at Engie Stadium? There’d be 15 people there,” Malinauskas said. Sydney chairman Andrew Pridham, who was on the same panel, replied: “There’s always only 15 people at Saints games!” South Australia’s view is that a northern states round would dilute Gather Round.
