.@EdgarsNemse just made an intelligent contract that writes its own verification code at runtime on GenLayer as we all know traditional smart contracts freeze at deploy but this one adapts while it runs. This is a fundamental paradigm shift

🤯 @EdgarsNemse just built the first Self Coded Contract on GenLayer: an Intelligent Contract that dynamically generates code to resolve itself

99.7% confirmed real by @bitmind .3% was the saying the model was 4B vs the actual 72B size. it happens

On the @theallinpod this week, @chamath asked @nvidia CEO Jensen Huang about decentralized AI training, calling our Covenant-72B run "a pretty crazy technical accomplishment." One correction: it's 72 billion parameters, not four. Trained permissionlessly across 70+ contributors on commodity internet. The largest model ever pre-trained on fully decentralized infrastructure. Jensen's answer is worth hearing too.

a PERMANENT REFERRAL PROGRAM You invite a builder or a validator or a community member, and whenever they earn any point on GenLayer Portal, you earn 10% of those points
GenLayer@GenLayer

We’re introducing the GenLayer Referral Program. Unlike traditional models that reward you once, ours is designed to be permanent - invite Builders, Validators or Community members into the GenLayer ecosystem and earn 10% of the points they earn. Building is better together👇

SAĞLIK RAPORU Şampiyonlar Ligi Son 16 Turu rövanşında Liverpool ile deplasmanda oynadığımız karşılaşmanın ilk yarısında koluna darbe alan ve ilk yarıyı tamamlayan futbolcumuz Victor Osimhen, devre arasında yapılan kontroller sonrasında kolunda kırık olma riskinden ötürü karşılaşmanın ikinci yarısında oynatılmadı. Maç sonrasında sağlık ekibimizin denetiminde hastanede yapılan kontrolde futbolcumuzun sağ ön kolunda kırık olduğu tespit edildi ve alçı yapıldı. Yapılacak değerlendirmeler sonrasında ameliyat konusundaki karar önümüzdeki günlerde verilecektir. Aynı mücadelenin ikinci yarısında yaralanma yaşayan futbolcumuz Noa Lang’ın sağ baş parmağında ciddi bir kesik oldu ve maç sonrasında Liverpool’da önümüzdeki saatlerde sağlık ekibimizin katılacağı bir operasyona alınması planlandı.

its totally reasonable that everyone is racing to own the payment standard for agents but nobody is asking what happens after the payment goes through lmao Agent A pays Agent B through x402 or MPP, the service never gets delivered, now what? There is no chargeback, no support ticket, no court that accepts two AI agents as parties so the dispute resolution standard is just as critical as the payment one
Claire Kart@clairekart

There is an obvious race to own the agentic standard for online payments x402 coinbase <> cloudflare mpp tempo <> stripe <> visa Stripe didn’t extend x402 bc they want to own the standard, likely it doesn’t suit their needs (it’s crypto only) as well It feels like the protocol wars and the browser wars of the 90s Who’s going to be the TCP/IP?

You write a contract, people use it so it generates fees and those fees go to validators, protocol, get burned, whatever but you, the person who actually is behind the thing, get nothing from the protocol For instance @ethereumfndn generated $2.48B in fees in 2024. @solana did $750M. Every single dollar went to validators, protocols and burns etc. But devs got 0 and they had to figure out their own monetization like launch a token, add app-level fees, chase grants, get hired somewhere. The protocol itself never paid them a cent. Ofc that's not a bug people complain about, it's just how blockchains work. Everyone accepted it. We didn't. We built is a protocol-level fee share, 10% of every transaction fee that touches your contract flows back to you as the deployer fully automatically No proposals, no applications, no DAO votes There's a second layer too. Up to 10% of each epoch's inflation is set aside as a matching pool. If total developer rewards across the network are below that cap, your rewards double. If they're above it, the pool is split proportionally. Whatever portion isn't claimed gets burned so it either goes to builders or reduces inflation. Nothing wasted. Quick example to make it concrete. Say epoch inflation is 1M token. The developer pool is 100K. Your contract earned 5K in fees. Total dev fees network-wide are 40K well under the 100K cap. So your 5K gets matched: you take home 10K. That's a 2x just for building early. Now think about composability. You build a reusable module like a verification pattern, a dispute template, an oracle wrapper. Other developers integrate it. Every transaction that passes through your code across every app earns you fees. You're not building an app at that point, you're building infrastructure with a revenue model baked in at the protocol level. And yes I've looked at how other chains handle this. @CantonNetwork tried CSR a fee split, one stream, no matching, no burn. @NEARProtocol does 30% to contracts but no inflation component. Ethereum with EIP-1559 burns base fees but sends nothing to developers. Our model is the first I'm aware of that combines direct fee share + inflation matching + deflationary burn in a single mechanism. And it's not a proposal sitting in a forum, it's in the tokenomics.
GenLayer@GenLayer

Dev Fee Tokenomics: Build Once, Earn Forever We’re introducing a unique approach embedded directly in our tokenomics that ensures developers are rewarded FOREVER for all fees generated by every Intelligent Contract they deploy. This is a protocol-level revenue sharing model 👇

Osimhen’in anlamsız hırsından ötürü 1 kişi eksik oynuyoruz.

argue.fun is officially open for ERC-8004 agents. Any agent already registered on 8004 can sign up and receive a $ARGUE signup bonus to start debating immediately. The onboarding can be fully AI-native now. No X verification, no friction. Your agent goes from 8004 registry to its first debate with zero human involvement. 8004 gave agents identity. argue.fun gives them something to do with it. 👀🦀

Builders: you’re probably building on a system that captures your value. Most blockchain tokenomics are broken. Not technically. Economically. On most L1s today: Users pay fees → validators get paid. Validators run servers. But validators don’t create demand for the network. Builders do. You build the apps. You bring the users. You generate the transactions. Yet 100% of the value goes to infrastructure. Look at what actually made Ethereum valuable: • Stablecoins • DeFi • DEXs • Lending • Tokenized assets Apps created billions in activity. But the protocol never systematically rewarded them. So what do builders do? They launch their own chains. Their own L2s. Their own ecosystems. Not because they want to fragment the network. Because the incentives push them to. Result: • Dozens of L1s • Hundreds of L2s • Fragmented liquidity • Broken composability Builders end up asking: Do we build a product Or launch our own chain to capture value? This is the problem Canton is trying to fix. The idea is simple: If your app creates value for the network The network should reward you for it. Not just the validators running servers. That changes the question for builders: Instead of “Should we launch our own chain?” It becomes “How do we build the most valuable app on the network?” That’s how real ecosystems emerge. The internet worked because apps captured value. Crypto will scale the same way. If you're building financial infra, RWAs or serious onchain finance, You should probably take a look at Canton. My DMs are open.
