If it's not North Korea some other state actors will start taking advantage of this.
At least with in person work, it's a bit of an effort to get in country, probably less difficult to get out, but at the very least the same singular actors would have their identity and biometrics now logged so they themselves cannot do it again.
A remote work would allow the same actor to refine their approach many times.
Probably the best reason for in-person working but that's been my argument since COVID is that remote works biggest flaw is the security measures needed would sit in place of just having a concentrated office space.

This guy got many people banned in 2016 pulling the same shit.
These graphs are used to manipulate techs on social media.
They used to say look at these accounts being manipulated by foreign bots.
This is the same technique they used to get me banned in 2016 ironically the same person doing it.

Ironically, I said at its beginning that Canada's MAIDs program could become basically a shadow organ harvesting operation in the future.
It wouldn't be high volume, but a person removed from the socialized healthcare system is a reduced burden and profitable since they could sell the organ transplants locally or to the states.
Was told I was exaggerating, that it's just maple maga conservative conspiracy theories.
Fast forward to today, last headline I saw it stated we've reached 100k in MAIDs participants although the statement is referring to the most being middle age, it doesn't matter, you don't always need some 20 year old's organs. If the choice is between death and some middle aged persons kidneys for a possible extra 5-20~ years, they'll take the kidneys. Late stage renal failure is not fun nor is dialysis cheap.

If you're also getting it for certain censorious reasons know that it wouldn't work as a go around for that. It will need to relay from you to a ground station to a hub and that's where it would fail... unless you live REALLY close to a US border that is.
