@CrossCountryUK Right ok. What’s also annoying is that the trains before mine were also cancelled but I only got a notification not long ago about this one. If you’d told people earlier I would have been able to plan an alternative route quicker.

@TansTopics Hi. We have ticket acceptance in place with Avanti between Stockport and Stafford where you can then utilise London Northwestern Railway to Birmingham New Street for connecting services to Reading. Unfortunately, there is no alternative route that will get you there any quicker.

You couldn’t make it up! Manchester Piccadilly closed so everyone has to get replacement buses to Stockport and there’s a signal failure meaning loads of trains are cancelled… 🙄 Why is this country’s train services one of the worst in the world? 😏

@RoyalMailHelp I specifically asked for a parcel to be delivered to a neighbour, instead I have been told it’s been put in my blue bin. I am not returning home until after the blue bin is collected which means it will likely be taken and lost. What are you going to do about it???
