Bei der Volksbefragung in Paris hat sich eine Mehrheit für höhere Parkgebühren für SUVs ausgesprochen. „Die Kosten für Nicht-Anwohner fürs Parken von SUVs in den zentralen Bezirken von Paris, in den Arrondissements mit den Nummern 1 bis 11, soll in den ersten 2 Stunden auf 18 € pro Stunde steigen. Das Parken von kleineren Autos kostet 6 € pro Stunde.“
