At @ClevelandClinic we are fortunate to have a parental policy that now permits paid leave of 12 weeks for gestational parent (8 wk maternity + 4 wk parental) and 4 weeks parental leave for the non-birthing parent. This generous of a leave policy should not be as rare as it is.

Good to hear @ABR_Radiology updated leave proposal➡️7 wk/yr of residency #radonc #radres #medphys. For #radonc this means 4 wks vacation/sick annually+12 wks additional leave. Commonly will impact parental leave. What is your institution policy for leave per child? @ARRO_org

I know nothing about this individual, but it's further evidence for all of us that even if what you're doing is "permissible", there may be totally unforseen consequences. Again the best way to keep everybody safe is follow the recommendation to avoid all non essential travel.
