@dtf_uk @ArchRose90 They were all prob entered into a raffle of those allowed to say yes, they have the numbers to rig the vote and mislead the local constituents into thinking "their" mp is a good one, reducing chance of losing another seat in upcoming elections.

335 MPs who voted against referring Keir Starmer to the Privileges Committee. A list of shame. Not an ounce of integrity between them. An advertising blitz will now hit the constituency of every Labour hypocrite on this list. They’ve increased their annihilation on May 7th!

Starting September 2026, a silent update pushed by Google, will block every Android app whose developer hasn't registered with Google, signed their contract, paid up, and handed over government ID. Google calls the new rule Android Developer Verification. This starts with Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand expanding worldwide in 2027 every app on certified Android phones must come from a developer who has registered their real identity with Google. This covers apps from the Play Store, third-party stores, and sideloaded APKs. Here’s what developers have to do: They sign up in Google’s new verification system, share their legal name, address, phone number, and ID, and pay a one-time $25 fee. Apps from unverified developers will be blocked or come with big warnings and extra steps. Google doing this to fight malware, the company says sideloaded apps are about 50 times more likely to contain bad software than Play Store apps. Android is becoming a little more controlled with all of this changes

@SkyNews @joncraig What exactly is the point of a consultation if you’ve already decided the outcome regardless of the outcome? It’s all a sham. The government are taking us for fools.

⬆️ 80% of parents want the social media age limit raised. We're pleased the Government have committed to action - parents views are clear. A clear age limit at 16, enforced by the social media companies, is what parents want.

@speeednet @LauraTrottMP And the mps are exempt, so they can still diddle the kids without being watched. And when the info gets hacked and leaked, they can go and off the one that did the leak, and not a peep in the news, as they control their output too. Welcome to the serfdom 🤣

@LauraTrottMP So rather than control the people/companies perverting & hurting children, from whom the likes of you and other politicians receive funding, you use this an an excuse to get digital ID in through the back door. We see this for exactly what it is, and you will pay dearly for it.

We did it. Just 18 months ago Labour said a social media ban was not something they were considering. They have now finally committed to social media restrictions for under 16s. This is a huge victory and a pivotal moment for children across our country after months of delay and empty promises. This is down to the courage of bereaved parents who fought not for their own children but for other peoples children. They are the reason I kept fighting and the reason I would not accept a timetable that allowed the Government to avoid action in this Parliament. We now have a more credible delivery timeline and that matters because every month of delay leaves more children exposed to harm. This victory also belongs to the hard work of Lord Nash, teachers, health professionals, parents and children who spoke out and refused to be ignored. Conservatives in opposition said we would fight to protect childhood and stand with parents and we have shown we will hold the Government to account and deliver change.
Raise The Age@RaiseTheAge16

🚨 BREAKING: A huge win for our children. The Government has committed to raising the age limit for harmful social media to 16. Thank you to every parent, teacher, health professional, police officer and supporter who spoke out, stood firm and helped make this happen.

History is just a long list of "temporary" taxes becoming permanent and "exclusive" taxes becoming universal. The 1% threshold is never the destination, it’s just the marketing phase to get the door open. Once the infrastructure for asset seizure exists, the definition of "rich" will magically drop until it hits your front door.

@TVMADoc @tonymt @Notwokenow @JayJohn55699568 Even then, a few million in fines will be lobbed under "other expenses" as just another cost of doing business, which will be factored into the price the consumer pays anyway.

@tonymt @Notwokenow @JayJohn55699568 The ONLY way to address this is for courts to hold the manufacturer 100% liable for any such "mistakes". Only the financial liability will get these manufacturers to resist.

@zigzagtoes @TheNorfolkLion The thing is most neighbours complied simply because they asked. They even asked one of them if they enjoyed their job & other pointless questions. Personally I didn't even give them any of my info stating that it's pointless based on their statement saying it didn't happen

🚨 Surrey Police Close Epsom Rape Investigation. No Sexual Offence Occurred Surrey Police have closed their investigation into the reported rape of a woman in her 20s outside Epsom Methodist Church on 11 April, concluding that no sexual offence occurred. The woman apparently sustained an accidental head injury during a night out after leaving Labyrinth nightclub, which led to a confused report. Extensive CCTV review, forensics, witness interviews, and house-to-house enquiries found no evidence to support the initial claims, with vague suspect descriptions contributing to the confusion. Police say they’re confident there was no offence and no suspects, though they’ll keep a visible presence in the area… Given that in the past they’ve lied to us and not been transparent, I hope there’s no cover-up involved here, real transparency in cases like this is crucial for public trust.

YouTube dashed his dreams with one wrong message. It was exceeding cruel. David Perez worked 3 tough years to get his YouTube channel, MovieTalkNOW to where it was. Just this week, YouTube's AI decided to demonetize him for "inauthentic content." He never had a single infraction, a single flag on his videos. All his content was original, hard, back-breaking work. Nothing "inauthentic." Now it was all up in smoke. You get one appeal so he took it. His fans rallied and then...YouTube sent him a message, HE WAS BACK! Monetization restored! Only that turned to tragedy moments later when YouTube sent another message, telling him that message was a mistake, that he was still demonetized. No sorry, no apology. In fact, they doubled down and blamed him again, telling him to enroll in a 90 day remedial class and then he could re-apply and maybe get his channel monetization back. This is cruel @YouTube and wrong. You've been on a string of automated demonetizations that are destroying hundreds of real creators. And you haven't done nearly enough to fix it. Now, my politics are about as 180 as you can get from David. I don't like or agree with his videos. But I will defend his right to a fair REAL review by a human against YouTube's insane AI rampage right now.
