@ChristoffDTodd Where's the bit about knowing Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, that he ran for the U.S. Presidency, and that you feel in your heart and testify that the Book of Mormon is true?

When we consider the character of the Savior we tend to focus immediately on His attributes, such as virtue, integrity, humility, compassion, and courage, but we should also consider, what is it in Jesus that gives rise to such character traits? I believe they are the natural fruit of the thoughts, desires, and intents of His heart. Christlike character grows out of a Christlike heart. Thus, if we are to succeed in developing a Christlike character, we must possess His motivations—His thoughts, desires, and intents of the heart. For us, it will require what the scriptures call a “mighty change of heart.” Jesus thinks and acts out of pure love; He yearns to bless and lift others; and He delights to do the will of God. With faith in Christ, we can pray that the Holy Spirit will effect a mighty change in us to instill these same divine motivations in our heart and help us practice the attributes of a Christlike character. #GeneralConference "Little Lamb" by Greg Olsen. @Latterdaytruth I don't hate you at all for being LDS. No. And you are free to believe what you believe. It's Mormon claims...particularly that 1800 years of "Church" ( as Christians define "Church") history was an "apostasy" and that the LDS are the one true church on earth that are odious.

@EinsiedlerKreb @antiantimormon What are you talking about? The guy I was responding to set out a bunch of Mormom beliefs. It all sounded very Christian. I just wanted to snap back with some non-Christian beliefs Mormons have. There are more. If you like I can list them....

What do "Mormons" really believe? What is the doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? If you had no preconceived notions and only listened to #GeneralConference, ChatGPT concludes: Jesus Christ is the center of everything. He is not a supporting figure. He is the focus: “Come unto Him.” “Follow Him.” “Abide in Him.” “He is the way.” His atonement and resurrection are the core: He heals, redeems, forgives, strengthens, and overcomes death itself. Salvation is not passive belief. It is a covenant relationship: Baptism, sacrament, temple, obedience, repentance, enduring to the end, all bind us to Him. The goal is transformation: Be born again. Change your heart. Become like Christ. Develop charity. Become a new creature. The end is not just being saved, but returning home: To God. To eternal life. To eternal families. And the evidence of it all is how we live: Love others. Serve. Minister. Forgive. Help others come home. Everything points to Him. Jesus Christ is not one doctrine among many. He is the doctrine.

In Canada elections are determined by the East Quebec and Ontario. So all they had to do was flood the large cities with immigrants that would vote for them and convince the “ELBOWS UP” crowd that Trump was going to take Canada over to get their votes. The west (west of the Ontario boarder) are not properly represented by number of seat in Parliament. Elections are usually decided before the western votes are counted. Thanks for your attention of this matter! ❤️🇨🇦🇺🇸

@mark_slapinski Can't blame them. PP is Canada's Trump — no one in Canada wants a demented person in power.

@mamalinstro @corbinallred Truth is objectively verifiable. He is no prophet of God to every one else. Really. Truly. NO ONE else thinks he is, other than Mormons.

President Oaks is 93 years old. Remarkable stamina. His body is weakening, I notice his slight tremor, but he speaks with clarity and power. He is a prophet of God. He is led by the Head of the Church, Jesus Christ. #PresidentOaks #GeneralConference

The more I read the Bible, the more certain I am the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It’s clear and simple and direct and straightforward. If you read it with a sincere heart, an open mind and real intent, you will see Christ’s teachings in it. I KNOW THIS IS TRUE.

How did many in Canada end up hating a guy (Poilievre) with a gay father, married a refugee, and came from a humble middle-class background? But yet they love rich boy silver-spoon-fed (Trudeau) and Carney, the rich banker?

@TryinDaily @stackerco Yah, in "Creedal Christianity" tithing is a covenantal relationship between a believer and God. In Mormonism you sit across from a guy to tell him that you have tithed, or the reasons why you haven't. Ridiculous, actually. Got it now?

Members and believers of any denomination. If you were behind in tithing 💵 to your church, and you were broke with only a car, would you sell that car to have enough money to make the back payments?

For those who say Latter-day Saints aren’t "Christian" Today’s General Conference had 16 talks. Every single one centered on Jesus Christ. His grace, power to change us, and His role in our salvation. How is our faith not “Christian”?
