Finally pushed another update to yardsear.ch You can now filter search results with a date range, and sort by best match, oldest first, and newest first. Up next is to combine all results from the same episode into a popup and then add multi page results.

First mini-"update" is pushed to yardsear.ch All episode transcripts are now a result of running every episode through OpenAI's Whisper model. These transcripts are more accurate and not censored like YT ones. Working on adding premiums next, then date filters

Remember folks. That Carwow video that’s upset everyone. Where they can’t tell the difference between Full Self Driving and EAP? This is what their car has:

@DevinOlsenn @SawyerMerritt @carwowuk Last yr they compared a MY and a BYD Sealion, said that the MY was better at everything except for efficiency declaring BYD the winner. They had read the screen wrong in the BYD. They later used the youtube editor to cut out the mistake & replaced the final verdict after comments

So frustrating how misinformed people will spread news like this and just keep the cycle of misinformation going. This is genuinely a huge part of why I started making FSD content - seeing so many people online who were trying to discredit it. I am sure they won’t, but it would be nice for @carwowuk to come out and make an apology.

Carwow just released a new video to its 11 million YouTube subscribers titled: "Why Tesla Full Self Drive is Pointless!" @carwowuk misleads its viewers into thinking Tesla’s Autopilot is FSD, even though FSD hasn’t been approved in the UK yet. Autopilot isn’t meant for city driving, yet they test of bunch of scenarios that Autopilot wasn't built to do in the first place....

As expected, Google is making sideloading harder on Android… but it is NOT going anywhere Here's the new way in simple steps: • Turn ON Developer Mode in settings • Confirm no one is forcing you • Restart your phone and unlock again • Wait 24 hours, then verify with fingerprint / face / PIN • Now you can install apps (7 days or always) More steps, but you still have the choice

My theory is BMW put funny lights at launch events so people can talk for months about how ugly it is up until they see it in the flesh and they swallow what they said and talk about how nice the car is for a long time 🤞🏾🤣😂😂

📢 Important update on sideloading on Android It’s of course here to stay. The team’s been listening carefully to feedback from power users who want a way (apart from ADB) to install apps that don’t go through developer verification. Today, we have more details on the advanced flow that gives you this option. Read the post👇 for more info goo.gle/advance-flow

Rivian Universal Hands-Free vs Tesla Self-Driving This was my first time testing Rivian's new Universal Hands-Free, and I was honestly surprised by how it performed. I understand this is their first attempt and it will only improve from here, but truthfully, it is worse than any version of FSD or Autopilot I have ever used. I respect Rivian as a company, but I always try to remain unbiased in my opinions, so here are my unfiltered thoughts on where UHF stands today. Hoping to test it more as the system receives major updates! Hope you all enjoy the video. @RoamingNorway @RivianTrackr @itskyleconner At least on the UK configurator for the iX3 you have to spec the M Sport package (£2.5k) to be allowed to spec the steering wheel (another £100).

@PinkDuckUK @EVPuzzle @OctopusEnergy Seeing people previously on 7p/kWh on a 12M fix getting given 3.5p/kWh. Would be nice if us IOG Variable customers get the same treatment of our 7p getting cut in half.

@EVPuzzle @OctopusEnergy New IOG off-peak rate is 5.5 p/kWh, so safe to assume it should also be 4.99 p/kWh for existing IOG Variable customers such as myself currently at 7 p/kWh.

@Timoldland Nice, but the rear end is ugly, just like the iX3. Apparently you can spec an m-sport steering wheel to avoid the baffling decision to have a spoke at 12 o'clock too.

@KingGuy04 @NevrEnoughX @wholemars Better than Tesla even in non-FSD markets. But then Tesla practically abandoned the AP stack years ago in the pursuit of FSD.

their approach is a bit different from Tesla’s, they try to squeeze everything they can from one camera and learn things, then only scaled the hardware once they’ve reached the limits. So once they reach the limit, and the camera is the main bottleneck, then they will add more cameras. They’re nowhere near Tesla, but it’s actually pretty insane what they’ve been able to accomplish with one camera. Better than what auto makers have.

@DevinOlsenn Not sure tbh, I think it's one of the "stats" tiles you can add on the home screen in the app? If not you can put the commander in "Scan My Tesla" mode and use that app to see all the BMS data.

Incredible news! Tesla and LG have signed an agreement to build a 4.3 billion dollar LFP plant in the USA. I have an LFP battery in my model 3 and I’ve loved being able to charge it fully without ever worrying. I’m at 80,000km and the battery seems to be just as good as the day I got the car.
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

BREAKING: The U.S. Government has officially announced that @Tesla and LG Energy have signed an agreement to ‌build a $4.3 billion lithium iron phosphate (LFP) prismatic battery cell manufacturing factory in Lansing, Michigan, with a 2027 start of production. "American-made cells will power Tesla's Megapack 3 energy storage systems produced in Houston, creating a robust domestic battery supply chain," the U.S. Department of the Interior said in a statement. Here's everything you need to know about Tesla's new Megablock, the latest in the company's industrial storage product lineup, which includes the new Megapack version 3: Megablock: • 23% faster to install with up to 40% lower construction costs • Plug and play platform (hardware, software and services) delivered as one all from Tesla. It's a pre-engineered medium-voltage block that integrates next-gen Megapack 3 • Eliminated above ground cabling between the transformer and the megapacks using new flexible busbar assembly • 91% MV round trip efficiency • 20 MWh of usable AC energy • Operates in temps of -40°C (-40°F) to 60°C (140°F) • 248 MWh per acre • 25-year life & >10,000 cycles • With Megablock, Tesla is targeting to commission 1GWh in 20 business days, equivalent to bringing power to 400,000 homes in less than month Megapack 3: • Will be manufactured in Tesla's upcoming Houston Megafactory starting in late 2026. 50 GWh annual manufacturing capacity when fully ramped. • 5 MWh of usable AC energy • Weight: 86,000 lbs • 28 foot long enclosure that can be shipped globally • Optimized for up to 8-hour applications • New drastically simplified thermal bay. Uses Model Y heat pump, but on steroids. 78% fewer connections, which minimizes failure points • Larger battery module and larger battery cell • 2.8 liter battery cell, co-engineered with Tesla's cell team • LFP battery • Operates in -40°C to 60° • Went from 24 cable connections in Megapack version 2XL, down to 3 simple busbar connections • 75% of the mass of Megapack 3 is battery cells. • A single module in it weighs as much as a Cybertruck • Tesla has enabled easier front access service, so there are no roof penetrations • Drastically simplified bussing system
