Completely overwhelmed after my last two days at @TeamQEH! I feel so privileged to have worked with these amazing, kind and caring people. Weโve been through so much and I couldnโt have asked for more from any of you. As I embark on my new chapter, itโs goodbye, at least for now

Right, I only post pics of myself when itโs a โmomentโ & this feels like one. Itโs been 1 mth in the new job. Never thought Iโd break this ceiling & also kind of didnโt want to. Iโve heard the horror stories of minority folksโ experiences in such positions and didnโt want it. BUT

Today is my last day and the end of 10 years at #TeamQEH. Iโm proud of all the things QEH and the people team having achieved and Iโve had the opportunity to work with some amazing colleagues. Wishing everyone well as I now start my new role as Director of HR at NSFT.

12 years a #midwife - strange having 15 shifts left. I'm a person becoming but a statistic of those leaving midwifery. A heavy week & kind feedback reinforcing this being the right move. Hopeful for a future joining a dedicated #TRiM team, #traumainformed staff support is vital

I work in a small team who have never made me feel less than their equal. Today, (unwittingly Iโm sure), several wider colleagues did exactly that and, having reflected, itโs really upset me.
