Completely overwhelmed after my last two days at @TeamQEH! I feel so privileged to have worked with these amazing, kind and caring people. We’ve been through so much and I couldn’t have asked for more from any of you. As I embark on my new chapter, it’s goodbye, at least for now

Right, I only post pics of myself when it’s a ‘moment’ & this feels like one. It’s been 1 mth in the new job. Never thought I’d break this ceiling & also kind of didn’t want to. I’ve heard the horror stories of minority folks’ experiences in such positions and didn’t want it. BUT

Today is my last day and the end of 10 years at #TeamQEH. I’m proud of all the things QEH and the people team having achieved and I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing colleagues. Wishing everyone well as I now start my new role as Director of HR at NSFT.

12 years a #midwife - strange having 15 shifts left. I'm a person becoming but a statistic of those leaving midwifery. A heavy week & kind feedback reinforcing this being the right move. Hopeful for a future joining a dedicated #TRiM team, #traumainformed staff support is vital

I work in a small team who have never made me feel less than their equal. Today, (unwittingly I’m sure), several wider colleagues did exactly that and, having reflected, it’s really upset me.
