$sofi ONLY WATCH ACTUAL DEFAULTS The only relevant issue for any bank is actual defaults and how much they receive. These arguments about hidden defaults and discount rates and fair values and now loan structures have been made for 5 years. They keep saying that there are or will be massive defaults that are understated. Most personal loans are 2 to 5 years. Well, it's been 5 years. Where are these projected massive defaults? There's been tons of loans paid and termed out. None of this made up bs about all these issues has been accurate because they haven't resulted in material defaults. Defaults are down actually. I guess if they say it enough and a nuclear bomb hits New York they can claim they were right

$SOFI We suspect if we are correct SOFI could be hiding $10 EPS this quarter. We have nothing to back this up and might make a trade if the stock pumps.

@DividendBreeder Love to see that. I hope that I can get close to $1000 per month after college graduation! I would increase this each year however, and my time horizon being longer than 10 years, I'm excited to see how the future works!

Unfortunately, investing $200/month isn’t nearly enough. After 10 years following this plan, you’d only have $39,000. Investing $1,000/month? You’ll have $194,000 after 10 years. This is assuming a 9% annual growth rate.

@Dividend2Retire I'd love to hit $100 once I start down the dividend path. Right now, I don't know how to think of the covered call income my portfolio brings in.

What do you need to see as yearly dividends, to feel like it’s actually making a difference in your portfolio? Personally, I think I’d start to be encouraged once I see 1,000 yearly.

Happy Friday Stackers! I'm always looking for new income streams and this is one of my newer ones. Staking $SOL. It currently earns me on average $108/mo. Solana is down roughly 70% from its ATH and it could go lower, but this is a risk I'm willing to take. By no means is this financial advice. Let's see how it plays out. If O Stacker doesn't work out, I could always start Sol Stacker 😅 Wishing you all an excellent Friday! Cheers

My 4 year old son’s $1,555 UTMA account will turn into around $300,000 by the time he’s 59 assuming an average of a 10% return. It should end up being much larger with more contributions over the years

@cmsinvests yes of course. All of mine are always open during the weekend. This is because I sell options, and am always collecting time premium

Portfolio Update: Rolled my $SOFI covered calls down from $21 to $20 strike for the 4/17 expiration. This brought in $12 per contract for 4 contracts, totaling $48 of premium. Sitting on premiums right now. Will roll these calls up and out to May starting next Friday or after.

I don’t talk about my personal life much on here, but I wanted to share a BIG life update with you all! I got married back in August of 2024 and we decided to wait at least a year before having kids. Well, about a year and a half later, here we are with baby #1 on the way! We are very excited, but if I’m being completely honest, I’m also terrified. Being the one to go through the physical changes and the labor process has always seemed scary to me. And now that it’s a reality, I’m even more scared 😅 That being said - moms out there, I’d love some tips and tricks to help guide me through this pregnancy along the way 💕 We definitely have a lot to figure out when it comes to finances, so plans are going to have to change for a while. No more maxed out IRA, unfortunately 😅 I’ll keep grinding my best with what we have already accumulated in our brokerage accounts and IRAs, though! Finances aren’t everything, and this journey will be so worth the financial sacrifice 🥰
