Carwow just released a new video to its 11 million YouTube subscribers titled: "Why Tesla Full Self Drive is Pointless!" @carwowuk misleads its viewers into thinking Tesla’s Autopilot is FSD, even though FSD hasn’t been approved in the UK yet. Autopilot isn’t meant for city driving, yet they test of bunch of scenarios that Autopilot wasn't built to do in the first place....

These are crazy numbers!
Waymo has driven 170,000,000 rider-only miles as of Dec 2025, up from 127M in Sept 2025.
This year they launched in 5 more major cities, making for a total of 10.
These numbers will only climb faster from here.

And the frunk also has soft close so it's much easier to close with just one hand.

I like that Waymo compares its safety data to the city they operating in instead of national averages.

- .30 cd
- 9.6" ground clearance
- 32" tires
- manual doors
- Driver display, no rear display
- premium interior design/materials
These are just a few things not ideal for a robotaxi.

@future_yas I would disagree with "isn't designed maximum efficiency" as the R2 has incredible space in the rear for people and great cargo area for picking up people from the airport and shuttling them around.

Stop being dumb. Saying loss per vehicle and multiplying that by number of new vehicles shows you don't know what you are talking about.
They don't lose money the more vehicles they sell, they lose money as they are funding R2 development and have other fixed expenses.

Their solution? Partner with Uber to turn a $58K camping SUV into a robotaxi... to compete with Tesla's Cybercab... YIKES Every 12-18 months, this company finds a new partner to write a check: - Amazon: $1.3B equity + 100K van order - VW: $5.8B joint venture - US DOE: $6.6B loan - Uber: $1.25B robotaxi deal (today) The moment they announced the Uber deal, they admitted they're pushing back profitability AGAIN to fund an autonomy program that can't even handle stoplights. Tesla's Cybercab is purpose built at $25,000 with no steering wheel. The cost per mile math isn't even close. The Uber deal is to deploy 50,000 robotaxis by 2031. Slight problem: The car doesn't exist yet. The factory doesn't exist yet. The autonomy software doesn't exist. Manufacturing is HARD. good luck have fun
