To the wise @2xdog I find that you’ve engaged and been vocal a lot, maybe my lucky day. For the potential upcoming cycle and if you were a betting man- which coins may be likely to follow sols path?

I didn't think Caleb Williams could fix the sack issue. (You can argue Ryan Poles fixed the OL instead.) But he went from historically awful to legit good at sack avoidance. I never thought the improvement would be this dramatic, it almost never is. But sure, that's an L. I didn't think he could fix his accuracy issues either. And he hasn't. He's still bottom-3 in every accuracy metric. Caleb can pull off some seriously impressive "wow plays". He makes some truly rare throws. The average fan overrates this. This sticks in the back of their head and they weight it too heavily as though every sick throw is equivalent to or negates 3 turnover-worthy throws plus 6 sacks. That's not the case. Not even close. I still don't think Caleb is good. But yeah, he hasn't been anywhere near as bad as he was last year. I think a big takeaway for Caleb and Trevor is HC/OC > QB (minus the already elite QBs), which was sort of already my suspicion, and something I've been writing about
Ryan Schlanser@RyanSchlanser

@ScottBarrettDFB Next you gotta admit you were wrong on Caleb

October’s sell-off wasn’t the end of the cycle—it may have been the reset it needed. Excess leverage is flushed, fundamentals remain intact, and institutional players are quietly rotating back in. Smart money is clustering around EVM chains, RWAs, and yield protocols—pointing to selective re-risking, not retreat. Key takeaways: • Leverage is cleaner, but liquidity gaps remain. •Capital is rotating, not entering—selectivity remains critical. • Macro risk lingers, but structural demand builds. We think this is the base-building phase before the next leg up, not a cycle top. Get more on these and other key insights in this Monthly Outlook report: coinbase.com/institutional/…

"Bridge" creates wrong mental model for crosschain interop It makes you think that interop is only about moving assets between chains like you move physical objects over a physical bridge. But interop is much broader and more powerful than that Long term interop will be just like cross-contract calls on a shared execution chain which can string together arbitrary logic across different pools of state What's a better word for this?

@cz_binance @BTCVIX @binance @BNBCHAIN @four_meme_ You wouldn’t have tanked the market right there just to justify paying for this would you.. It wouldn’t make for a great marketing ploy to rekt everyone and create life on your chain with some new found money would it..

Okay, everything's broken. My charts are broken, the market is broken. I'm dramatically reducing leverage. But there are some FREE coins out there right now if you're buying spot. I've been soaking up ZRO @ $1.1

Over my now long crypto career I had the chance to angel invest in infinite projects There have only been two I've actually wanted to XPL & Monad Everything else I've just not been interested enough to support, much too late, or been too lazy to actually pursue XPL didn't work out for me sadly, Monad did Not sure why people hate on these projects, I like them both, they seem to do most things right and are actually pushing crypto forward instead of endlessly forking existing stuff Curious to see how it'll play out in the long run

People have been so skittish that Uptober may punish the hedgooors bigly. Hearing from desks that Q3 ended with quite a bit of selling, much of which has abruptly paused now that we've entered Q4. All of that said, still think it's a general time to be booking *some* profits (psychologically easier to do so on the way up), and may share more about my personal approach to that end soon. I'm a consistent, but patient, seller at these levels and higher for most cryptoassets. While I do raise cash, I aim to always stay significantly allocated, especially to $BTC as I feel naked without it.

lotta people (incl. me) missed past few weeks rotations which required you to be at desk and paying attention to narratives before they're fully formed @Credib1eGuy & @wronguser000 have been some of the people good at spotting opportunities before they are consensus there are a lot of other new launches still on the way over next few months so its worthwhile to have list of which protocols to pay attention to & have group of ppl looking for similar opps

my take on perp dex situation hyperliquid - still best by a longshot, best 1 stop shop, ui / ux, liquidity, UNIT is a monster (farm it, DO IT), top 3 L1 in crypto with legit teams and defi products (farm those too before its too late), builder codes are powerful, HIP-3 is going to 1.5x-2x revenue, Jeff is 1/1000 builder and a northstar for people, its one of the holy grail crypto products alot of people have waited a decade for lighter - sneaky good, probably the darkhorse (maybe not as much after this week) similar ui / ux, 0% fees matter, especially to retail / medium traders, questions around profitability / tokenomics remain for that exact reason (it makes no money), but its extremely smooth and whaling a scalp into the order book hits different with 0.00% fees (robinhood) aster - ui / ux and user experience needs work, its clunky and slow, tokenomics are nowhere to be found (I would expect similar to HYPE, dont be short when they announce buybacks) BUT it has the #20 richest person on planet earth backing it, an exchange worth hundreds of billions, it has 90% of tokens outstanding to airdrop, you can cry about airdrop farming or whatever all you want, reality is in 2 weeks they will do one of the biggest airdrops in crypto history, and then what if they do another round? and another round? people have been trading on this for 1 week, it will only improve from here in UI / UX, at some point it is what it is, if binance is backing this big time its going to be a major player in this category, they are tired of hearing about SOL / HYPE and this is their move I think this ends up like a binance / bybit / coinbase situation were you have a few large winners, HL maxis think its all or nothing, they will be wrong, the other 100 perp dex sites are a fade as of now, this will be an extremely top heavy vertical as liquidity and users are sticky, thank you for aint reading all that
