When these clowns say “stop building rockets and pay taxes” they tip their hand and show that they believe if you have the money to do *anything* beyond survival, it should be taken away. The point of tax for them is to stop anybody in society ever doing better than them.

@nuhre_ The Expanse just doesn't really do it for me. And Exodus, based on what we know so far, has a setting that doesn't really include the stuff I liked about Mass Effect.

Mass Effect 5 is in a really tough spot right now. A few years ago, there was nothing quite like Mass Effect on the market.
Now you’ve got Exodus stepping in, and The Expanse continuing to prove there’s a strong appetite for grounded, character-driven sci-fi. So Mass Effect isn’t coming back into an empty field anymore.
It now has to convince people it’s worth their time again, after Mass Effect: Andromeda already burned a lot of that goodwill.
It can’t just be “good.” It has to be really good.
Because for the first time, fans have actual alternatives that promise the same kind of experience. And if BioWare fumbles this again, people aren’t going to wait around anymore.
