During 2024-25, the company has achieved highest ever market sales of 52.4 MMT beating earlier record of 51.0 MMT, highest ever refinery throughput 40.5 MMT with 115% capacity utilisation, Highest capex of ~ 17000 Crore, outstanding gross refining margin 6.82 $/bbl and 13275 Cr profit after tax. BPCL has commissioned 5MW GH2 at Bina refinery in just 15 months setting a benchmark for rapid and cost effective execution. Reaffirming its unwavering commitment to India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission and the country’s Net Zero targets for 2070 under leadership of PM @narendramodi Ji, energy Maharatna @BPCLimited has unveiled a state-of-the-art 5MW Green Hydrogen Plant, its first and largest such plant, at Bina Refinery. With a production capacity of 2.15 tonnes per day, the plant, commissioned in record time of 15 months, is expected to achieve an annual carbon emissions reduction of approximately 9,000 tonnes, significantly supporting India’s decarbonization goals. Met @cmdbpcl Sh G Krishnakumar Ji. A dedicated and knowledgeable professional and captain of India’s energy sector, he will superannuate this month end. The contributions made by Sh Krishnakumar as the CMD of @BPCLimited, one of India’s leading OMCs and Maharatna PSU have played an important role in India’s journey towards energy security and green energy transition. His tenure also saw BPCL becoming one of the most profitable energy PSUs of the country earning a net profit of ₹26,859 crore in 2023-24 from being in line for disinvestment.
