I’d push back a bit on this. Currently, it’s very common we have softball interviewers that are just marketing whoever is on their show and letting them push whatever agenda they wish. That’s bad. We used to have journalists that people respected who asked hard questions and got to the heart of what the interviewees really believed. That was good. We need more of this. You’re kinda this. You’re an asshole (quoted from a recent podcast haha).

Idk if they made other changes, but I almost exclusively use Claude Code for fixing things on my system and now it's refusing to do that? 🙃

@NirDiamantAI Peter Steinberger told me that he wants PR to be "prompt request". His agents are perfectly capable of implementing most ideas, so there is no need to take your idea, expand it into a vibe coded mess using free tier ChatGPT and send that as a PR, which is now most PRs.

I've been working on the OG image generation for my personal docs site (made with Fumadocs by @fuma_nama). For deeply nested docs, I got it to draw out the page hierarchy. Think it looks kinda nice

China seized the Paracel Islands from Vietnam in 1974 and now it’s building a 1,490-acre artificial island on Antelope Reef, its first major island-building campaign since 2017. Preliminary airstrip foundations, 50+ structures, helipad, and jetties are already visible in satellite imagery. Beijing’s official line: “improving living and working conditions.” The reality: a multi-domain military outpost designed for surveillance, A2/AD, and power projection 162 nautical miles from Hainan. This violates the 2016 international tribunal ruling and destroys coral reef ecosystems in the process. I'm curious whether anyone else ever gets this issue when building an Expo / React Native Android app: > Cannot convert '' to File. It's the most common build-time bug I run into. I've found a solution, but I'd like to know how widespread the problem is, too.

@michiokage @ThePrimeagen It’s just a slang. I don’t love it, but it is succinct. I also think that using LLMs in a careful prescribed manor can yield excellent results. But “vibe coding” if defined as yeeting LOC like you just don’t care is dangerous.

I stand by my claim that people who site percentages are just full of it. This is someone telling @ThePrimeagen YNGMI because he trad codes 1-3 hours per day. 🤦‍♂️

@ThePrimeagen @javilopen Ran this through our efficiency model in Q1. 1-3 hours of manual coding daily = 23% productivity drag, compounding. My head of engineering tried to explain why he "enjoyed" writing code by hand. I listened for about 4 minutes. He no longer works here.
