@lone_rides @VIZIO I absolutely detest smart TVs. They want to harvest our data and sell it, so almost everything is "smart" nowadays. The user interface is always garbage and gets in the way of using the device. Bring back stupid TVs.

Dear @VIZIO, I didn’t buy a Walmart TV. I bought a Vizio TV. Why the hell do I have to have a Walmart account to access my Smart TV functionality? And I can’t even finish set up until I create a Walmart account? This is bullcrap.

@SPinRH_F16 @RSE_VB Yeah, Bucees doesn't want to become an overnight stop. They're fine with RVs visiting, but they want you to move on before too long. Harvest Hosts is what we use; love a good winery or distillery for an underway overnight stop.

@RSE_VB It was full the night I stopped there. BTW, Buccee’s isn’t happy about overnighting in their parking lot, even if you purchase fuel first.

Love’s RV Stop is pretty nice! Power, water, and a dog park!

@RSE_VB I was not a fan with the one we stayed at. Noisy, had to drop my toad to back in, high price, and no sewer at the site. Had to move to the dump station the next am, and it being Love's, jackasses love parking in front of it. I'll use them, but as a last resort.

@R_R_Rye @thecavemommy That is a great way of putting it git. If somebody has absolute TONS of debt, his advice will help them get out of it. It will mean a lot of lean years, but it will work for them. If you can use debt without being overwhelmed you don't need his advice.

@thecavemommy Recently on here, I saw someone say the Ramsey's advice is good for people that are terrible with money and terrible for people that are good with money. Probably the best I've ever heard it put.

Dave: You’re going to be losing so much money to interest Person: Not really Dave. I have very good credit. I got approval for a 4% interest rate. Dave: That’s $2,000 extra you’d be paying in interest. Imagine if that was sitting in the stock market? Person: Yeah but Dave I’ll not be spending thousands in repairs on my car all the time if I get a used one, so in the grand scheme of things what’s $2,000 interest? Dave: No, buy a used car Person: I have 3 kids. We just want a reliable car and will drive it for 15 years. Dave: Go have your kids powerwash a house. No new car.

I've stayed at far worse places than Hampton Inn. Makes for entertaining road-trip stories.

@thenewarea51 If they close roads around the airport nobody is going to notice. Not much traffic on that side of the airport and most is Boeing anyway. But my guess is we'll get a peek at it before it actually starts getting built in real numbers in STL.

There will be signs, when a C-5 shows up in the middle of the night at STL and they have unannounced road closures around the airport, then you know something is up. 😎
