Just bought this glowing plant from light.bio , and can’t believe how bright it is. Visible to the eyes, the room doesn’t even have to be pitch dark. Avatar in real life.

@FSDRoboRides @scotsrule08 @mrfundman @Tesla_AI It's not an intractable problem. They could have a feature in the app to request a partial refund. Tesla can compare the route taken with optimal navigation route and issue a refund for the extra amount incurred. Btw, human drivers make mistakes too, Uber doesn't care.

@scotsrule08 @mrfundman @Tesla_AI Can you imagine if you were paying for this ride per mile in a Robotaxi? How would you go about disputing something like this when you get overcharged? This is a problem that Tesla needs to solve ASAP.

@pmarca @elonmusk For $126 billion you can purchase 1500 new ERJ regional jets and, for 30 years, have them fly the route daily for free with no cost to flyers.

It’s hilarious how proud of themselves people are for noticing the very first thing anyone would notice about space data centers. I too had the thought “what about cooling” the first time I saw the idea, then I saw huge companies betting on it and assumed I was missing something rather than that no one at SpaceX etc had the BRILLIANCE I had to notice this obvious phys 101 objection, because I’m not a moron. And yeah, turns out you can make radiators work.
David Bombal@davidbombal

Why space servers FAIL Execs want to put data centers in space, but there's a massive physics problem: vacuums have no convection cooling. Discover why cooling servers in space relies purely on infrared radiation! Big thanks to @ThreatLocker for sponsoring my trip to ZTW26 and also for sponsoring this video. @TS86142 @NASAAdmin @NASAMoonBase 3.5 km/hr? I guess the good thing is that if it breaks down you can walk back faster than it took to get you there.

To build a sustained human presence on the Moon, we are building @NASAMoonBase, prioritizing surface operations and scalable infrastructure.  - Frequent robotic landings and mobility testing including MoonFall drones  - Starting in 2027 nearly monthly cadence of equipment and rovers with scientific payloads landing on the Moon.  - Investments in power, communications, and surface mobility  - Scalable infrastructure to support long-term human presence The objective is clear: build the foundation for an enduring lunar base and take the next step toward Mars.

Ford CEO in new interview: “We'll have an all-electric, affordable vehicle to compete with Model Y and Model 3. I think there's nothing else like it on the market. We started a skunkworks team 4 years ago. They were basically Formula 1 and Tesla people. That vehicle is radically different. I'm really excited to show everyone maybe late this year or (early) next year. It will be coming out next year.” (via Spike's Car Radio)

My biggest disengagements aren't ones I do, but rather the redhands of doom, that fsd 14.x does frequently in the rain in certain situations. 10 times on 14.2.2.5 and 7 other times on other versions of 14.x. Outside of that, i've only had one safety related disengagement, where I disengaged, in the last 10,000 miles in over 99% fsd driven.

This thread that @DirtyTesLa started is worth discussing in more detail. The number of people demonstrating very high percentages of FSD utilization over thousands of miles of driving is incredible to see. To me this IS the use case for consumers. Let the @Robotaxi cook, and let Cybercab grow up. Most of us just want safe autonomous driving with low nags so we can make our commutes, our road trips, and daily lives easier, less stressful and MUCH safer. @Tesla_AI has delivered this in my opinion with FSD V14.2x. It's not perfect. Nav needs help, and many other areas I know where to help it with a manually initiated lane change to keep it out of trouble. But my drives are sooo much better these days, and my 99% FSD utilization proves it. Bravo Zulu @Tesla_AI x.com/ChuckCook/stat…

At any given time there are ~12,000 planes up in the air. Another way to look at it is: ~150,000 take offs a day, more than one every second. When you look at aviation, then 10k Starship launches per year suddenly doesn’t feel far fetched anymore.

@aaronburnett @LimitingThe How’s it same team? Is Elon hiring Tom Mueller to lead semiconductor fab design? To make this work Elon “simply” has to locate and hire the top semiconductor manufacturing people in the world from industry and also maybe (exiting) academia. Ask around, see who is publishing what.

@LimitingThe I know it’s reasoning by analogy (so dangerous) but you’d believe this team has a shot at replicating then massively scaling what others have already proven is possible.

The largest data center in the world is planned to be built in Ohio, and it'll cost up to $40,000,000,000 to construct. The 3,700 acre center will require 10 Gigawatts, 1/3 of Ohio's entire power grid capacity, to run.
