@KemiBadenoch I’ve emailed my Labour Mp @MCSavours requesting he raises the issue in the House ASAP- our village of Bowness on solway Cumbria relies totally on heating oil - our suppliers were hiking prices up as soon as the war kicked off!

I am concerned about families in my constituency and across Britain being exploited by heating oil suppliers breaking their contracts at this time of rising prices. The market is beset with bad practice at the best of times, but with events in the Middle East and Labour continuing to double down on their anti-North Sea oil and gas policies, the situation is critical. That’s why Conservative MPs and I have called on the CMA to open an investigation into the heating oil market. These households do not have a powerful lobby to speak for them and the CMA needs to ensure the law is enforced against predatory suppliers.

Just one Labour MP, @MCSavours, voted against the Government on the Family Farm Tax… Why don’t they have the backbone to stand up to Keir Starmer? They’ve betrayed their local farmers and rural communities. They should hang their heads in shame.

i’ve emailed you, @MCSavours, multiple times since you’ve become an MP, & not only have i never received a reply, i’ve never even received a message letting me know that these emails have been received. looking at the replies to this tweet, this seems to be common problem — why?

No @markjenk I'm not. Payroll have been instructed to stop all allowances following my election to parliament. I assume this is what you did with your council allowance when you were elected in 2019.

I spoke to my father this evening, his constituency has been redrawn and is now Penrith & Solway. He is voting @UKLabour, but thought they didn't have a chance... I sent him this. Now he's well chuffed. Good luck @MCSavours
