This demonetization nightmare began the morning of April 18th. I would please like a manual review of the channel. It is first and foremost EDUCATIONAL and is part of the Player for Education Program on YouTube! Teachers and students from around the world watch my channel and it's helped professors convey info to students, help students themselves to pass exams, or just give the old-school documentary vibe of being transported to the past to learn how the world of yesteryear shapes the world of today. It was meant to be a global project, introducing different audiences to histories they might not have any idea about or never come across. I wanted to teach people about Dynastic China, about the African Empires, the Pre-Columbian Americas, Persia throughout the ages, the wealth of history of the Subcontinent and Ancient Near East, Southeast Asia, and of course go deeper on European history that might have been missed or forgotten. You are actively killing this passion and I have such guilt that my 220k subscribers have to live in limbo because of this. I had never used X before so I came here to voice my concern but I'm here starting from scratch and it seems only the highest viewed cases get looked at. It's Monday morning past midnight and I'm all out of options other than getting a lawyer involved and even if things get fixed this second, the mental anguish will no doubt last much longer. Hey @TeamYouTube @YouTube @Google I was monetized on 28th February. Demonetized on 17th March. ONLY 17 DAYS LATER. Same channel. Same content. Same tools. First you approved me. Then you penalized me. My appeal was rejected without any human reviewer.

A YouTube bot decided my family’s future in under 5 minutes. My channel was demonetized for “inauthentic content.” I appealed multiple times with completely different explanations and evidence. The responses were almost identical every time. So what exactly is being reviewed? This wasn’t just my channel. It was my family’s income. My rent. My mom’s stability. My entire life for the past few years. I haven’t been sleeping properly. I’ve lost weight from stress. And the worst part is not even knowing WHAT was supposedly wrong. No examples. No timestamps. No real explanation. Just policy links and automated replies. Meanwhile bigger channels in the same niche upload similar content daily and stay monetized without issue. Creators are deleting hundreds of videos and still getting rejected because nobody knows what the actual problem is. How are people supposed to “fix” something YouTube refuses to clearly explain? YOUTUBE just found a NEW WAY to LEGALLY take creators’ MONEY while still PROFITING off THEIRS videos 💀🔥 THIS 450K SUBSCRIBER channel, PyareDesh, got DEMONETIZED for “inauthentic content” despite making fully ORIGINAL videos 😭 NO repost spam, NO repost spam NO copied content! The ONLY AI thing is the voice, which YouTube’s OWN monetization rules already allow 💀 Everything else is manually edited and takes HOURS The CRAZIEST part about this whole situation, YouTube says his content is “INAUTHENTIC” when it’s time to pay the creator BUT suddenly the content becomes “AUTHENTIC” again when it’s time to put ADS on the videos and keep the revenue ☠️ So the videos are apparently: “Not authentic enough to monetize” Yet somehow: “Authentic enough to profit from” That logic genuinely makes ZERO sense 😭 and thats actually terrifying Like what is youtube even about anymore? NCH Docket: 9270536 - Status: In Process ✅ Here is why this got to this point: Mar 17: My spiritual & meditation channel (113K subscribers) demonetised for "Inauthentic Content" Mar 19: Video appeal was manually reviewed & reinstated - YouTube confirmed my workflow is legitimate. Apr 28: Flagged again for the EXACT same workflow & I sent an appeal again. Apr 28–May 1: Case 4-2479000040828 - same email thread, multiple agents (Ash, Czar, Arjay) sending: "Under Review" → Bot Rejection → "Under Review" → Bot Rejection → "Under Review" → Bot Rejection. Not one email named a specific video or gave a specific reason. May 3: Human specialist "Friday" (Case ID 6-8718000041235) re-validated my workflow & merged evidence into Case 4-2479000040828 May 7: @TeamYouTube publicly(here on X) told me to follow up on the email May 8: I did. When are all of us creators banding together to take down @TeamYoutube for their boneheaded AI moderation "inauthentic content" errors? They changed my case number promising to reply in 24hrs, and then almost a week later they still just answer with the same copy paste reply. All I'm seeing are creators begging daily. It doesn't need to be like this. They revealed their hand by remonetizing only those who garner enough support, no matter what the channel is. We know they are legally in the wrong. When will be band together so they can actually feel consequences? I'm talking about legal pressure, I'm talking about political pressure. I'm talking about fighting to make sure they have to hire unionized human workers, pay ungodly amounts of taxes. This is what scares them the most. I am prepared to escalate on Monday to force a manual review and do what it takes to get back the money stolen from the channel. Each of my videos provides significant educational value and takes 3 weeks of 6-8 hour days. Calling it mass-produced is a crime to humanity. @YouTubeLiaison I don't understand how you haven't spoken out about this publicly, no explanations or acknowledgement. Whenever i try to contact @TeamYouTube regarding demonetization, all they give me is new case id and then tell me to wait 1-2 days, and after 1-2 days i get this same email over and over. No detailed explaination. No human review. Same copy paste reply. And here is the funny thing and how this whole review system is scam. If your channel gets suspended from YPP, they say you must be reinstated within 50 days to receive your withheld revenue. But after a rejected appeal, they force creators to wait 90 DAYS before reapplying. So how are creators supposed to get their money back? Meanwhile ads continue running on videos while creators are left with automated replies, no clear examples, and no real human review. All i ever asked was for a human review, but instead of that, each case id refers to previous case id where my appeal was rejected. But it was WRONGLY REJECTED. Thats the reason i was contacting youtube in the first place. But instead of helping or looking into the issue with human review, they just send same email everytime that my appeal was rejected and bla bla bla. This whole YouTube monetization situation has genuinely destroyed my mental peace. Imagine spending years building a channel, writing scripts yourself, editing for hours, designing thumbnails, growing an audience… and then suddenly getting hit with “inauthentic content” with no proper explanation. Now I’m stuck in a system where YouTube says I must get remonetized within 50 days to receive my withheld revenue, but after appeal rejection they force creators to wait 90 days to reapply. How does that even make sense? Every day I wake up anxious checking emails hoping for a real human response, but all I get are automated copy-paste replies. I can’t sleep properly, I constantly overthink, and it honestly feels horrible watching your hard work get treated like spam by an AI system. It's been 20 Days since the demonetization and I am honestly shocked how horribly @youtube has handled this. I know @teamyoutube is doing what they can but there must be a way to speed up this process. I honestly thought this whole ordeal would have been done over in a weekend. While there needs to be consequences, we are all willing to go the legal route to at least just get back to the status quo. Don't forget, it's Day 20 but the last payment came in for the work done in Jan! Feb views onward have counted for NOTHING. A message to @YouTubeCreators @TeamYouTube @nealmohan @reneritchie and every YouTuber that suffers from "Inauthentic content". I'm a French comedian and YouTuber with over 12 years on the platform. I run 2 YouTube channels (714K and 350K subs) with more than 400 million views on long-form videos. I create comedy podcasts and gaming content, and I do everything myself: filming, editing, and appearing on camera. Overnight, both channels were demonetized. I made 2 appeal videos — zero views. Every appeal was rejected with the exact same copy-paste automated message. No human support from YouTube. After 12 years and building two big communities, this treatment is unacceptable. This broken system is destroying the lives (literally!) and careers of thousands of genuine, original creators. Please comment, share, and tag YouTube. This needs to stop. Attention YouTubers who have been Demonetized or Deleted on YouTube. YOU WILL NEVER communicate with a HUMAN REVIEWER. Yes, I know you asked for one. Yes, I know the DMS and emails look real. Yes, I know you saw screenshots from others where the communications were "personalized" by talking about the value of their content, etc. YouTube is slammed with APPEALS from around the world. They have probably less than 200 people dedicated to stuff like this. If you think one of them is actually watching your appeal video and reading your pleas for help, you are either naive or retarded, and you're probably not retarded. Sorry to say you are not special. You will not be the exception. I know you want to feel that way, but it's crazy to do so. It's AI. You are communicating with AI. You need to accept this. Either you are a bot leaving silly irrelevant replies Or you are purposely ignoring the fact that Youtubers are leaving Youtube because they got demonetised or outright TERMINATED unfairly? So what, you want them to make another Youtube channel? Which as far as I remember, its circumventing a ban and also against TOS. For these ex-Youtubers there is NO choice. Youtube's "Ai moderation" took away their choice. Address the key concern.

Every Monday I feel it's getting better and will all be over then by Wednesday I'm in deep despair again.
