We flew out to San Francisco for @ycombinator 's Demo Day yesterday. The team spent the day meeting founders, learning what they're building, and connecting with the YC community. The thing people don't talk about enough is what happens after Demo Day. The batch ends, and then you go build. But the relationships shouldn’t end. They should deepen. We came out of the W'23 batch and founders from our batch became some of our earliest customers. Some became close friends. A few became the people I call when I'm stuck on a decision that has no clean answer. That community gave us a lot when we had very little. Sending the team this week wasn't about selling or recruiting. It was about showing up for a community that showed up for us early on. To the newest batch: the hardest part is starting. The second hardest part is not stopping. The network around you right now is more valuable than you think. We plan to keep supporting this community for a long time.
