@RyanHaecker @AramisBuendia "The passage from the ‘digital’ to the ‘postdigital’ has been said to pivot upon a rupture, a ‘system crash’, and a ‘glitch’ that cancels the process of becoming digital or digitization at the terminal point of its ubiquitous saturation."
Said by whom?
English

The digital has been conceived by Leibniz as the optimal grammar of binary algebra in algebraically controlled mechanical computers, and generalized by Alan Turing as the algebraic script that writes the programme of any conceivable mechanical production. The passage from the ‘digital’ to the ‘postdigital’ has been said to pivot upon a rupture, a ‘system crash’, and a ‘glitch’ that cancels the process of becoming digital or digitization at the terminal point of its ubiquitous saturation. It initially appears to hold cybernetics open to the religious, as the negations of such interruptions may recall the hyper-negative judgments of ‘negative’ or ‘apophatic theology’. Yet because the negations that define this passage remain conceptually underdetermined, and the movement of the postdigital has deliberately resisted definition, it can, as I have argued, always be carried aloft by divine and angelic powers, as it more ultimately passes across the hyperbolic arcs of mystical theology to the ‘hyperdigital’: where the prefix ‘post-’ of the ‘postdigital’ indicates a circuit of empty reflections upon the rupture of the digital, the prefix ‘hyper-’ of the ‘hyperdigital’ indicates a higher or hyperbolic reflection upon its creative source. Once, therefore, this very grammar of computers has been shown to hyperbolically signify from a divine and angelic source in and beyond the world, the old separation of interior discipline (religio) from exterior instrument (techne), must collapse to reveal computers as cybernetic engines for calculating ways to know of God, especially as this has been conceived in the most cybernetically advanced religious movement - that of the Society of Jesus.

@hasanahmadian @amalsaad_lb Yes, and Pakistan was all happy to be given the opportunity to mediate the negotiations only to find out the United States had no intention of negotiating in the first place. Poor guys.

After an initial round in Pakistan, Iran came out of the post-war negotiations with three conclusions:
1. Washington does not view the war's outcomes realistically, nor does it build upon them in negotiations with Iran.
2. Washington emptied the negotiations of their substance after imposing the blockade, and tried to change the terms of negotiation by doing so.
3. U.S. policy uses the blockade as a cover to prepare militarily and to surprise Iran for a third time.
However, Iran will not be taken by surprise militarily, nor will it negotiate except on the basis of the war's outcomes.

We’re facing the second fossil fuel shock in less than 5 years.
Events far away are once again impacting families and businesses here at home.
We can’t go on leaving our country so exposed.
The solution lies in clean homegrown power we control.

@Ed_Miliband @Anothergreen I would suggest ending the wars first.

@jeremyscahill That would have been my first guess. :)

⚡️A senior Iranian official told me the Trump/media campaign to portray Iran’s leadership in disarray is a desperate attempt by Trump and his allies to save face after Trump's recent false claims, including that Iran capitulated to his demands.

@M_Chase7 @disclosetv Impeaching Trump won't stop the US from going after Iran. That's been in the cards all along.
English

@disclosetv Can't clear a hostile Strait, not even for a traffic lane. We have no cards. This "war" was an enormous blunder and should get this guy impeached.

@ColinTCrypto @disclosetv To the money side of it.
English

@disclosetv 6 months? 😮
that's a lot of damage to the economy

@IM_EROS_ @disclosetv Iran doesn't have a nuke, it's never had a nuke, and it does not want a nuke. It wants to be able to produce electricity using nuclear fuel it produces itself.
English

@disclosetv Proof iran shouldn’t have a nuke, look how wrecklessly filled their own strait with mines
English

@WorldOfMarkyD @disclosetv Oh, the Democrats wanted a war with Iran. Ask Chuck Schumer.
English

great 😒
so Donald Trump’s war that nobody wants, will drag on for who knows how long
and THEN it’ll still take 6 months to clear mines so ships can safely pass the Strait of Hormuz? 🤦🏻♂️
this is already having a disastrous impact on the global economy - Australian groceries are set to rise in cost.. due to a shortage in diesel fuel and urea (fertiliser) for farmers
our major supermarket chains will jump at the opportunity to hike their prices again.. they can’t resist the greed
why are ordinary folks having to suffer.. thanks to the impulses of an orange, senile, malignant narcissist?
the 25th amendment needs to be invoked to remove him.. although I don’t want JD Vance as President either.
English

@disclosetv @gurugeopolitics And yet the stock market continues to rise. What is that based on? Is it just a lack of awareness of the situation, or is it a matter of betting on things continuing the way they have in the past once the war is over? It seems irrational to me in any case, but what do I know.

BREAKING: The IRGC warns of cutting the seven submarine internet cables that pass through the Strait of Hormuz, which would trigger a "digital catastrophe" for Gulf states that depend on them for over 90% of their internet, banking, and cloud services, per Tasnim.
Iran relies on these cables for less than 40% of its internet, with the rest routed overland through Turkey. Gulf states have no comparable backup. IRGC described the cables as "strategic pressure points" alongside ports, shipping lanes, and energy facilities.
English

@HormuzLetter @amalsaad_lb Given the possibility of being unable to order stuff from Amazon, all of the Gulf states immediately backed down.

@Alihashem The mainstream world. Ironically so-called.

Shoots women for removing hijabs?
Last month, I visited seven Iranian cities. In each one - and as confirmed by the videos I published - I saw hundreds of women walking the streets without a hijab and no one bothered them.
@MelissaLantsman is lying through her teeth to justify the criminal U.S.-Israel war of aggression on Iran.
Melissa Lantsman@MelissaLantsman
Iran’s regime hangs democracy activists, burns protesters, shoots women for removing hijabs, and exports terror into Canadian communities. Liberals looked at that regime and with its deafening silence at the UN said: same side. Then they denied it.

@Iroiroya_j @WokeratiMarty By 'seriously socialist' I mean assuming capitalism is going to collapse and basing current actions on that assumption. Socialism that isn't serious assumes we can strike a deal with the devil indefinitely and be satisfied with just pressing for higher wages and taxing the rich.
English

@RonRice_ @WokeratiMarty Depends a lot on how we define seriously socialist
As a party, I'd say maybe in the early 20ct, and the early post-war Attlee years?
But there are strong socialist traditions & a high level of identification
Corbyn 2017 got more votes than New Labour, ie Blair, ever did
