Great news from the Apostolova lab @DepBiomedicine! In a recent study led by @ApostolovaPetya & Robert Zeiser (Freiburg, Germany), extracorporeal photopheresis safely treats immune-related adverse events from immune checkpoint inhibitors, with a 92% response rate. Researchers in @ZampieriLab @DepBiomedicine developed a method to study how more than 1,500 drugs affect cellular metabolism. Using high-throughput metabolomics, they uncovered new drug mechanisms & potential cancer therapies.
