@AaronDodd @SenatorCash @SkyNewsAust What sort of ‘small business owner’ supports Australia’s highest taxing, highest spending, highest debt government of all time? NDIS service provider I’m thinking.

@QuentinDempster Yeah good one Quentin. Rid us of a petro cartel at least made up of multiple countries to replace it with a wind/solar Chinese communist Party monopoly. You’re a dead set lefty gimp.

Greg Sheridan goes on about drilling Australia for more oil/gas re petro crisis. But with Murdochian intellectual dishonesty he ignores/dismisses decarbonisation as the only viable market-driven answer to liberate us from corrupt global cartels and to conserve earth’s biosphere.

@Belisarius2020 Unfair and a smear Mr Morgan. ABC does not have an “ideology’. The legislated Charter obligation for its journalism is to try to inform the public about what’s really going on. That requires investigative/inquisitive work and editorial judgment. The Murdochs are the ideologues.

@VoteLewko @PRGuy17 I was here long before prguy and here long after. This crisis caused by your beloved foriegn regimes of Israel and Magativille, it needs to be managed, and at least Victoria is doing something about it. Australia First is key, you wouldn't understand.

@spenderallegra Still doing daddy Simon’s bidding for him hey Allegra? TealGreen anti energy / anti Australian agenda has seen us abandon energy self sufficiency & we’re in this crisis as a result. SimonTeal solution is to make us 100% dependent for our energy on China, a totalitarian state.

Simon Says: "Monique Ryan received approximately $749,000 in funding from Climate 200 for her successful 2022 election campaign in Kooyong. This funding was part of the broader financial backing from the group founded by Simon Holmes à Court to support "teal" independent candidates focusing on climate action. Key details regarding Ryan's campaign funding: Total Funding: She raised a total of $1.84 million, with Climate 200 accounting for roughly 40% of that amount. Significance: She was one of the major beneficiaries of the nearly $6 million in funding distributed by Climate 200 to 19 candidates." -Grattan Institute

The FBT exemption has helped more than 100 000 Australians afford EVs. In a global energy crisis, we need to use all levers to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, including extending EV subsidies and cutting back on the diesel fuel tax credit scheme. Dr FrightBat demanding farmers lose the diesel tax credit even though their machinery doesn’t use or damage the roads. I think we should strip Dr FrightBat of all her parliamentary subsidies that we pay for her. These ugly Teals have no understanding of the real world and simply follow the orders of Simon Says and Climate200 lobby group. Teals do Zero for their Constituents. No roads fixed. It’s just lobbying for renewable energy investors.

@aaronsmith The thing is that she's so bad at her job. She has only ever served on 4 Senate Committees, 1 at a time. Compare Larissa Waters, also party leader, also Senate whip for the same duration. She has served on 21 committees & has subbed on several others. Leadership matters.

The nut jobs are out in force suggesting the govt reduce or eliminate to petrol excise for a period of time to reduce the retail price of petrol. This would be one of the worst policy ideas doing the rounds. It costs billions of dollars making it harder to get the budget to balance. It stimulates demand adding to inflation at a time when inflation is too high. It make the petrol shortage - to the extent there is one - even worse as people keep driving & don't look for alternatives. It is a crap idea that should pick picked up carefully & dropped in the rubbish bin. youtube.com/watch?v=51sLQz…

Just a small comparison note. If Australia today had the same % rate of electrification of cars and trucking that China does today? We would have 250 million litres less demand of fuel per month. Thats nearly as much as Agriculture uses...

@RickFHarris @QuentinDempster @NadiaWa35758056 @AngusTaylorMP @mattjcan I never share personal details on X. You have so it’s not inappropriate of me to ask that question. I have huge respect for tradies. They’re the backbone of Australia but I’ve found most (ex CFMEU diehards) believe in free enterprise and small government, not what we’ve got now.

@Lochness4000 @Ben_Davison1 Not true but what is true is that the net zero agenda promoted aggressively by clueless Labor / Greens and the massive renewables roll out have driven electricity prices up by 75-100% and rendered ALL energy intensive industry in Australia uncompetitive including refining.

@Lochness4000 @Ben_Davison1 The Labor govt is complicit in this crisis. Their anti fossil fuels / pro renewables agenda is directly responsible for the disappearance of refineries over the past 10 years and the cuts in domestic production of oil. Your mate Dan Andrews banned drilling for oil & gas outright.

@Ben_Davison1 Isn’t it funny, as soon as a crisis comes along, not of the current government’s doing, it a case of ‘AND ALONG COMES PAULINE’ ready to capitalise on the situation politically.
