@Jet_Set_Swipe @ankurmittal Has to be a @PineLabs. I have also lost a few points similarly. Logged a complaint with them. They promised refund. They told me they have fixed this issue by adding an OTP requirement for redemption. But neither refund came nor did this OTP change.

Croma mistakenly burned 11k M4B ERs for part payment on POS. Axis says ask merchant to dispute transaction. Croma guys clueless what to do. Transaction not getting revoked probably coz GC and Card combo was used for payment. Any help on what to do in this situation? @ankurmittal @ankitdewan @ccg33k @imYadav31 @skh27

Ok, here's the crazy thing. I thought I connected it with wire, I infact even plugged the LAN cable but what I forgot was that the LAN wasn't connected at the node/modem in the ground floor, so practically my Decos were running wirelessly and still almost giving me full speed. Such a great value for money. For now, I have connected 2 decos, one to main and other was wireless connected on a top floor and it was covering a carpet area of 4000 sq Ft with 0 dead area.

Have set up the Deco and its insanely good! Getting almost the same speed on both the floors. Setting up was a breeze, almost plug and play.

@gurumilespoints Had a similar experience for a usually inexpensive sector. Was flying BOM-BLR and everything, even the odd hr Akasa, was ₹5.5k+ one way. Got AI Eco RT for 8k miles + ₹2.1k in taxes. BOM-CCU for 5k + ₹800 for something barely 10 days away 😍

Most people think Air India’s reevaluation is a great move. But I feel It’s actually going to get worse for many users. Here’s why 👇 Earlier, award flights often required more points than the cash price. Result? No real arbitrage → people didn’t bother redeeming miles. Now things have changed. With route reevaluation + Accor removal, there’s suddenly real arbitrage on multiple routes. And whenever arbitrage exists, behavior changes. ✈️ More people start redeeming miles ✈️ Inventory starts getting eaten up ✈️ It feels gradual, until one day it’s gone This is exactly what I experienced. I was looking to book a flight for my parents. Plenty of economy award seats were available. Came back in 1–2 days and everything vanished. Only option left? A connecting flight at 2x the miles. Lesson: 👉 In the miles game, availability is the real currency. Smart move = book first, decide later. Because in this new system, hesitation = paying more (or worse, no seats at all).

@Jet_Set_Swipe @ankurmittal Hearing this problem for the nth time now. Be careful when swiping cards - both Amex and Atlas. Outlet guys are pathetic they don't care if it is points redeem or not. Escalate and ask them to cancel/reverse the txn. Get points back.

@ankurmittal Sadly, not yet. Had to pay ₹7290 and used ₹5k GC and ₹2290 used tap. But 11k ERs were deducted instead of ₹2290. They are unable to revoke transaction and say they can’t refund points. You’re saying all I can do is raise dispute online for the ₹1 transaction?

@ankurmittal This is a very unwelcome move and unlike hdfc too. This directly impacts genuine users too who’d have their cards lost/stolen for no fault of theirs. They should impose caps/restrictions on no of reissuances or start giving plastic variants if cost of metal cc is prohibitive.

All the card issuers should provide an option to opt for Non Metal cards. Suppose if someone is having 3 addon cards and all the cards are reissued, the bank may charge Rs 14,000+ GST. Itni to card ki fees nhin hai.. Thank god my Infinia/DCB is plastic 😅 only BizBlack is metal.

@gurumilespoints Yep. Gave up the membership after 1 yr since most vacation oriented options are not covered and doesn’t make sense at this price point. My take was it makes sense only if you eat at or frequent itc properties in your city, otherwise pass.

Was going through ITC Culinaire subscription. Although it’s available to purchase via points and can be purchased for multi-year, does it make sense to buy? Average price of Plan below Select: 20k per year Elite: 30k per year Select and Elite comes with 1 and 2 free night stay but the catch is, you can only redeem them at select properties below. Moreover some properties require 2 vouchers for 1 night stay. Same with meal / buffet vouchers which can only be used in below properties. Most of these are properties are located in main stream cities which I will definitely not visit for a vacation. If I do visit, I will have options in Marriott and Accor. Only benefit which can be redeemed in most properties is 50% savings on F&B bill. But it won’t justify the cost. Eventually you will force yourself to stay in a property of your city. Anyway. Happy to hear if you think differently. 🚨 Axis also down on RedGirraffe. Rent via credit cards may be over (for now). Even Axis Bank payments are now showing “Payment Gateway unavailable” on RedGirraffe. What makes this more surprising 👇 Just recently, RedGiraffe had shared an official communication saying they were aligning bank-by-bank for RBI compliance and that Axis cards should work. But on the ground right now: ❌ Axis not working ❌ Other banks still not live And there is no clear ETA anymore. At this point, rent payments via credit cards look effectively paused on the platform. Will keep tracking if any bank comes back online. 👀

Optimise when you can. Adapt when you must. Don't let it consume you. Nice if it works. Fine if it doesn’t. Life's too short to schedule meetings with MDs over some hotel points. 😂
