Britain's freedoms are dying because free speech has no constitutional shield. A true UK Free Speech Act—a First Amendment-style bedrock right—is the first and non-negotiable step to rescue every other liberty. Without ironclad protection for expression, all rights become privileges granted (or revoked) at the state's whim. Only then can we pass a Great Repeal Act to dismantle the worst excesses of the Blair-Brown era—the laws that built the censorship-surveillance state, eroded sovereignty, and strangled open debate. These two acts are the gateway to real national renewal. Anything less is just continuing to manage decline.

The Public Order Act 1986 is a legislative train wreck that replaced a much better law, the Public Order Act 1936. Consequently, the UK Free Speech Act (2026) repeals the whole thing. If Parliament wants to revisit public order it should do so from scratch.

Here’s what I think about Paul Brand. In addition to ITV News, he hosts an LBC Show. LBC is produced by Global. Global ran the Assisted Dying adverts on the tube. That means it had a contract with Dignity in Dying. Global was priming people about assisted dying on its shows long before the bill was introduced. (It also had Dignity in Dying’s logo in the background on a News Agents interview with Kim Leadbeater). For instance, Carol Vorderman (yes), who had an LBC Show, randomly said she would choose assisted dying, months before Kim Leadbeater began pushing it. The priming is so that ideas aren’t as shocking when they’re finally introduced. Vorderman also primed people for it in her book, which mentions Esther Rantzen. Again, it comes across as very random at the time, but in hindsight I can see they’re just trying to plant the seeds (“ooh assisted dying is a good idea”) because they think were that thick. Oh also Brand was at Vorderman’s book launch, which brought together propagandists from the most odious left-wing networks, many with intersecting aims. The Global link is hard to ignore.

@WorldByWolf We support proscribing all so-called NGO's as they undermine national sovereignty and democracy through external interference and non-transparency of funding. Not because we have a desire to suppress free expression.

The power to proscribe should be fully embraced by Restore Britain. We are not liberals and we don’t believe every group and organisation has an inherent right to exist on our soil. The Runnymede Trust, Hope Not Hate, the Fabian Society, etc should all be flat out banned.
