@jmbrim3 @GoWithJordan_ His relationship to the Father isn’t like our relationship to the Father. He says My God and Your God in the same passage. Thomas calls Jesus God, if they are separate beings, then Thomas has 2 Gods which cant happen for a Jew under the Mosiac Law….

@GoWithJordan_ So it makes more sense to you to have them embody or represent each other than to be 3 distinct beings united as one in purpose? How do you square Jesus commanding His apostles to be one with Him like He is with the Father?

Bug guy came knocking on my door. He was raised LDS but didn’t serve a mission. My wife and I were able to preach Jesus and pray with that young man! Walked him through the Bible, he had so many fun questions. Good questions… He was at our house for over 3 hours. Having a great time learning about God. There is something great happening. Thank you God for that opportunity! That young man left with a new Bible and we exchanged numbers. We’re going to meet up and I’m going to get him a better Bible. That was such a fun experience. Praise God! Pray for the bug guy for truth and revelation!

@Piecemaker2121 They are discouraged from using platforms like this, IG, etc. as it will allow apostates to cloud their mind, but they seem to be softening that stance.

@j_divis @KyleIgnatius Jesus didn’t sin like us. That’s why His blood atoned for our sins. He took on flesh so we could be reconciled. (Rom 5 & Phil 2). I ask not to denigrate, but to understand your viewpoint. If God had a body like us…wouldn’t that make him finite in a sense?

Heavenly Father wants us to know Him and His true nature. Satan wants you to be confused and not understand His true nature. Heavenly Father made it simple, man made it confusing because Satan influenced them.

The Trinity is a man-made belief created centuries later and is not biblical. Most Christians actually believe something much closer to the LDS Godhead: three distinct divine beings united in purpose. Surveys don’t lie. Time to rethink what you’ve been taught. @j_divis I would encourage you to thoroughly read the gospels for what it says. Does Jesus claim to be The God of the OT & will we put our faith in Him? Test the evidence that has been given to us in scripture. (1 Thes 5:21). We don’t want to win a debate, we want you resting in Christ.

@j_divis Those events show His divine nature and a distinction between Jesus and The Father. Deut 6, God is one. Isaiah 44, He shares His glory w/ no one. He’s praying to The Father & fulfilling a prophecy as the Messiah, which means that He is God, but not The Father.

@Salt_n_Smoke I’ve noticed that too about the LDS god, there is no justice. He appeals to emotion a lot. Makes sense being that Mormonism is about feelings. Like you said, doesn’t matter how we feel. It’s about who He is. He is Savior & Judge. You’ll see one side or the other…

LDS top apologist has completely made up a god in his own mind. Like many free spirited hippies do who never have touched a Bible. This is why many LDS are so comfortable where they’re at, because they’ve made up their own god how they think he needs to be, rather than accepting God for who He actually is. Jesus Himself talked about Noah and the flood, Sodom, Lots Wife, Events of Moses. Jesus said scripture cannot be broken, and that His own words won’t fade away. The verse you cited is in the Law. Which Jesus specifically talks about. “For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” Matthew 5:18 ESV It sure seems like Jesus trusted the Law and all the events that are sometimes hard to grasp.

@jaredadairbell He says spiritual abuse bc you’re putting your family on a path to feel justice and eternal separation from Jesus. Take his post seriously, test it w/ The Bible. We’re not above being tested. We want you to feel His grace in eternity. Read Rom. 5 & see how faith in Him saves us.

@plasmarob Those who love Christ don’t want you to feel His justice. It’s getting you to see that sin leads to shame and there is a Savior that has paid the debt. We don’t want to win a debate, we want your soul to belong to the true Christ. Read Heb. 4:11-16. You want His grace.

@Piecemaker2121 Brother, that is a lie. I’ve believed lies from Satan and they all lead to shame (Rom 6:20-21). Salvation is a gift that can be accepted thru faith in Christ (Rom 6:23). It’s there for you once you walk away from LDS teaching. I pray you have a blessed day.

@Bobby_Clayson @MarkRome17 DC 132 is a HUGE 🚩. Calling the patriarchs righteous bc they were sexually immoral is a lie. The Bible is very clear on marriage (Gen. 2, Matt. 19). BoM, DC and PGP preach a false Christ. My brother, I want you to truly know Jesus bc He is so good.

@Bobby_Clayson @MarkRome17 BoM says it gets you closer to God more than any other book, so we test it w/ what God has already revealed. I just started it & it doesn’t pass the test, so it’s a diff gospel that can’t save. Please test BoM. It should hold up to 1 Thess 5:21 if it’s truth.

As I was reading the Book of Mormon today, I found this verse that sounds exactly like the Trinity. I’m still LDS Christian, but how is this verse not the Trinity? It says the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost and one God. Mormon 7: 7 And he hath brought to pass the redemption of the world, whereby he that is found guiltless before him at the judgment day hath it given unto him to dwell in the presence of God in his kingdom, to sing ceaseless praises with the choirs above, unto the Father, and unto the Son, and unto the Holy Ghost, which are one God, in a state of happiness which hath no end.

Just ran into LDS missionaries at Kroger and wasnt even planning on going there today. We are meeting later next week. Ive never ran into so many missionaries until I started evangelism to Latter-day Saints. Gods providence is amazing!

We’ve all been deceived by demons at one point. We warn bc LDS are eating at the wrong table based on what The Bible said before BoM.

Look at it this way: I know everything about Joseph Smith that you do (and likely much more), and of my own free will and volition choose to believe he is what he claimed. Am I demonic or merely deceived? And if I’m not demonic but merely deceived, then what is the difference between me and Joseph?

@Salt_n_Smoke @JasontheLayman That’s a great point. I believe all of Paul’s letter warn about false teachers. It’s very fair to think Paul adressed it so people won’t be deceived when the church is in its infant stages. Great question!

In Acts 16:16-18, a servant girl having a spirit of divination is following Paul’s crew. She was following them saying “These men are slaves of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation.” Paul got annoyed and commanded the Spirit to come out of the girl in the name of Jesus.. which it did. Why did Paul cast out the spirit? Why was he annoyed? Thoughts?
