Bengaluru Police Rescue 56 Year Old Woman from 25 Foot Pit Bengaluru In a dramatic pre-dawn rescue, Bengaluru City Police personnel from Chandra Layout Police Station saved a 56 year old woman who had fallen into a 25 foot pit near a public park in Nagarabhavi. The victim, identified as Sudha Parimala, was walking near the park when she accidentally plunged into the deep, narrow pit. Disoriented and trapped in darkness, she was unable to climb out. Her son quickly dialed the 112 Emergency Helpline, triggering a rapid response from Hoysala-61, the patrol unit covering the area. Within just four minutes, the team led by ASI Srinivas Murthy and Head Constable Vinoda reached the site. Using the signal from Ms. Parimala’s mobile phone, officers pinpointed her exact location. They found her exhausted and in shock, but alive.The officers conducted a rescue operation using an iron rope, successfully pulling the woman safely out of the pit. Following the extraction, Ms. Parimala was rushed to Aryan Hospital for medical evaluation. Doctors reported that while she was weak and disoriented at the time of rescue, she is now under professional care. @CPBlr @BlrCityPolice

A person claiming to be a police officer boarded an interstate #KSRTC bus to #Coimbatore at the #Mysuru Central Bus Stand, despite there being a separate bus to #Chamarajanagar. He occupied a reserved seat, misbehaved with staff and passengers, used abusive language, insulted KSRTC employees, and arrogantly said, “I am a police officer. You KSRTC staff cannot do anything to me.”

Chikkaballapura district administration has issued an order banning visitors from entering Nandi Hills on February 14th
No visitors or private vehicles will be allowed to enter Nandi Hills between 6 AM to 6 PM on that day.
Officials said the decision has been taken to prevent overcrowding and potential law and order issues on a day that traditionally sees a surge in young visitors and couples.
With a large number of visitors there is a possibility of unruly behaviour, which could also harm the fragile flora & fauna of the hill station.
