10 products Indians are happily paying 3-5x more for than they did 5 years ago. Each one tells you something about where consumer India is heading. 1/ Coffee. From a ₹10 Nescafé sachet to a ₹400 Blue Tokai bag or a ₹700 Davidoff. India didn’t become a coffee market; it became a routine market. Once something enters your morning ritual, price becomes irrelevant. 2/ Bread. From ₹30 white bread to ₹100-150 protein bread and sourdough. The health factory, Theobroma, Ether, and Subko are selling out daily. Bread is the easiest way to feel “healthy” without changing anything else, so people will overpay for it guilt-free. 3/ Supplements. From ₹300 multivitamins at Revital to ₹1,500–₹3,000 protein powders and gummies from Wellbeing Nutrition, OZiva. Supplements work because they promise outcomes without behaviour change; a pill is easier to buy than discipline.

I was not kidding when I said this, here is the real outside view of techparks in India(Bangalore). Everyone is shameless, the MLA's & MP's, citizens who recklessly throw their garbage and our dear @GBAChiefComm & @GBA_office for doing outstanding work. @WFRising @DKShivakumar

Ladies and gentleman, this india only exists behind closed walls, either within apartment complexes, housing societies or tech parks. Outside those gated areas, you see the real india.

Why there is no permanent solution by doing ontime regular pickup, keep dustbin and empty it whenever it gets filled. Like chennai, y donot we have shift basis cleaning day and night with proper equipment.

Blackspot Beautification | Bengaluru West City Corporation A stretch on Old Guddadahalli Main Road that had turned into a major black spot—with garbage piles, debris, and constant nuisance for pedestrians—has now been transformed. The Bengaluru West City Corporation (BWCC) team, in coordination with around 60 volunteers from Youth For Parivarthan and with the support of Synamedia, carried out a comprehensive clean-up and beautification drive. Garbage was cleared, the road stretch was levelled with cement work, and the wall was brought to life with portraits of inspiring personalities and intricate mandala art. What was once a neglected space has now become a clean and vibrant public spot—showcasing the impact of community participation in keeping Bengaluru beautiful. 🌿🎨 #SwachhBengaluru #CommunityAction #BlackspotTransformation #nammabengaluru #GreaterBengaluruAuthority #westcitycorporation #DKShivakumar @DKShivakumar @SwachhBharatGov @SwachSurvekshan @karnataka_dma
