This kid lives, breathes, eats, sleeps tornado damage. I'm so consistently impressed by his work Mark my words this is the next Ted Fujita.. By 2035 it will be called the EK scale

The Lake Village, Indiana tornado (on the Illinois side) looped at this location due to *another* satellite tornado, but this one was anticyclonic! The parent circulation was drawn towards the anticyclonic meso and that's what allowed it to loop. You can tell it's anticyclonic based on radar data, as well as the cycloidal markings (in result of sub-vortices) facing the opposite way.

Two things are disappointing here:
1.) A viral astronomy page is labeling airplanes as meteors.
2.) A large subset of Americans are unable to discern airplanes from meteors, and are helping the viral, outlandish claim — and the responsible account — to gain traction.

I have used @aguacerowx pro for one month and here are my thoughts.
1. can actually use it for here in JP w/o being hard to see.
2. Tons of customizability
3. Good model selection
I rarely spend money on subscriptions but this one might be the one to change me.

These ship-trail streaks are fascinating to watch form and evolve, as @ariweather showed on-air. I probably first saw these while playing on a dialup McIDAS machine at NSSL in the late 1980s, and have noticed them ever since, looking at marine satellite loops at NHC and SELS/SPC.
No doubt Ari is a fellow weather nut and cloud/satellite-meteorology aficionado! I love his enthusiasm for this stuff.

@_jwall @MatthewCappucci @weatherdak @SteelCityCoach @SkyPixWeather I roast them often.. I actually just found out recently that a couple my wife and I are close with are full on chemtrailers. It's legit kinda devastating because even though I'm a met they dgaf. It's full on cult religion
