I’m deeply disappointed with today’s Supreme Court decision to abruptly end TPS for over 350,000 Venezuelans. Venezuela’s dictator Nicolas Maduro also leads Tren de Aragua—a transnational criminal enterprise. We must not send innocent people back into the grip of a narco-terrorist. That’s why I’m asking the Trump Administration to grant Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) for Venezuelans and CHNV beneficiaries. We should protect those fleeing tyranny—not return them to it.

@senpizzo @FLHSMV I do believe that the new Miami Dade Tax Collector office will be assuming this responsibility in January. But we definitely do need a change. Last year I was number 51 and they called the first 50. People also stand in line early and sell their spots. 🤦🏼

Time to get back to government basics. Ridiculously long lines like these at our @FLHSMV locations, are completely unacceptable. The legislature needs to properly fund the agency - we swelled to nearly 800 vacant positions - far too few DL examiners to staff basic services.
