Homelessness in LA is a humanitarian crisis. And our response isn't working. The city has the money to fix this. But we are not moving urgently enough to use this money on what works and demand that every dollar we spend moves as many people off the streets and into safety as possible.  Angelenos have voted three times to tax themselves to respond to this crisis with services and housing. Billionaires don’t have bank accounts like you and me. They have art collections,Yachts,Mansions,Stocks. None of it gets taxed until they sell it. So they just never sell it. They borrow against it instead. Live off the loans. Pay almost nothing. Then when they die, their kids inherit it all tax-free. The wealth never gets taxed, It just gets passed down. And we wonder why the gap keeps getting wider.

If we survive Trump, Dems will run up huge numbers in 2026 & 2028, like 2006 & '08. But if the next President doesn't govern like FDR, broad reforms, corruption prosecutions, landmark legislation, we end up right back here. Winning isn't enough. Dems have to change things.

Not to be pessimistic, but at what expense does he get to speak again? We're talking about some advanced, external neural wiring connected to his brain and helping him to voice his thoughts; in addition to the complicated neural pathways that already exist in the brain. Can he be controlled what neuralink? Can his thoughts be extracted without his permission? There are a lot of questions that haven't been answered.
