In May 2023 the rank 1 DeGods NFT was stolen from a victim after visiting a phishing site and sold for $177K (99 ETH). I am pleased to share I was able to help recover a decent chunk of the stolen funds which have now been returned back to the victim. While recovery can be a lengthy process it does happen and I am always happy to share these success stories.

As bullish as I am on @RTFKT, I must be brutally honest— their lack of active communication is alienating SOME Creators. This needs fixing. Tbf, the lack of active comms affects all holders, but my point here is how it impacts Creators and their creative energy (and less about FP). There are two aspects to attract Creators (and other holders) to your project: 1. The Vision 2. How To Get There #1 Vision RTFKT has an ambitious mission: merging worlds, empowering Creators, top-notch physical products integrated with futuristic experiences. @clegfx sees it as bigger than MCU. Many of us love it and are in it for the ride. Yet, this is a massive undertaking that'll take years, so the intermediate FP and sentiments are not the most important IMO and they'll inevitably fluctuate. #2 How To Get There By empowering Creators, building experiences that people love, and keeping people engaged etc Bringing collectors and holders alike towards your promised land is not straightforward. It's fking hard. Further, most Creators (and holders) do not have enough resources or opportunities that allow them to wholly dedicate their time to RTFKT. People have other priorities and not everyone has the privilege to be full in on Web3. Even if they can, what makes them focus on one project over another? IMO, it's vibing with the vision, and/or the community. I'm privileged in that I can spend more time in Web3, but also in how I've met and interacted with so many Clone holders IRL to recognize that this is indeed something very special. Unfortunately, not everyone has that privilege. For the many other Creators (and holders), they have to rely on social signals that exist mostly online. S/O to @BadTakeCrew and other Clones for keeping this online social signal strong. RTFKT is actually doing great too in making the 3D and AR stuff accessible and shining the spotlight w @RTFKTcreators. BUT there remains a gap—the official communication is insufficient or lacking. Communication from official channels is crucial. We get that not everything can be spelled out clearly or given an expected deadline, and that's fine. It can be as simple as reassuring people the team is working on it, even if they already guessed. And no, communication is not about pacifying holders. It's about keeping #1 The Vision alive. As for #2, people can decide how to spend their time and energy if they align with your vision, but you have to remind them of the big picture. Some people like myself choose to stay active in the community. Others farm fiat i.e. work, to get more cash to accumulate their RTFKT collections. And others keep creating in hopes of getting noticed. Regardless of their choice of action, the fact is you need to reiterate that Big Vision, because not everyone has that privilege to be speaking closely to team members, to see the grind and hustle they're going through, to see that legit work is being done (even if we don't know what exactly it is). I've spoken with Creators (and also holders) who have decided to focus their time and energy elsewhere, and that's normal. It's called life. It's called priorities. As much as enthusiastic community members like myself can help to keep these Creators (and also new ones) connected, we can do with some help from the official @RTFKT team. So I sincerely hope they step up on communication in the coming year. Lastly, I've to iterate that I'm writing this not to tell the team what to do. I don't know how to solve it either and I'm just pointing out the gap – and it's not that existing team members aren't doing their job; they're all trying their best and working beyond their scope. 🫡

I have horrendous hip and ankle mobility. And a decently bad bunion on my right foot. It’s seriously hampered my lifting, I worn around it but haven’t put in the effort I should be into mobility. Went to a physio today and they were shocked with how bad it is. Sigh.
