@eglitisX does that really increase view to download conversion? I don’t have any mention in bio, or even link, just CTA in slideshows. And 0.1% conv rate How much that would add to that number?

I can’t add my app link on my TikTok. it says “action can’t be completed” and it’s been like that for months. same goes for a lot of devs on X. but you already know… Chinese algorithm ain’t sh*t to a G. so you gotta AIKIDO your way out of it: make the CTA in your bio so damn good viewers end up typing your app name into the App Store themselves. generated $7.2k with no clickable link btw 🧟

AI can now read your customers' minds. We raised a $20M Series A lead by 8VC & Lingotto to build this. Introducing Minerva, built in collaboration with OpenAI:

learnings over the past 2 months of hiring and firing people: - down to earth over high ego. always - hire people who at least know what a startup is and how it's different from a normal company - operating the company as a frat is the funniest thing ever - do not outsource marketing or paid ads before you make your first $10k - cut money-driven people within days, not weeks - take care of your employees (food, transportation, housing stipends) - eliminate all corporate bullshit when it comes to operating a company (slack, jira, etc.)

Wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. My apps Been stuck in review for 12+ days. Had so much momentum, then overnight everything got cooked. Ads cooked. Influencer deals cooked. momentum cooked. Most people would take this as a sign to quit. I take it as a test. Every setback is an opportunity to prove how badly you want it. See ya at the top

@shivan20222 @Mauro_Botanes @kyanbuilds interesting, I had the same refund rate few month ago but it was only on 30-40 transactions (5 of them refunded). Is yours at the higher scale? If not maybe it’s not high refund rate, maybe review input during onboarding?

2 days before I'm supposed to get my first ever App Store payout, Apple pauses them for no reason. Anyone experience something similar? I need this revenue to continue reinvesting & growing 😵‍💫

@justddev 30k rev on 20k downloads is definitely not an insane conversion, i suspect they're making more on that downloads however.

$30k revenue from just 20k downloads is insane conversion gentler streak is the perfect example of high-LTV execution their onboarding is pure storytelling: - gamified character interactions - smooth explanations of core features - high-converting 50% off paywall right at the end you don't need millions of downloads if your onboarding funnel converts this well

@degensing @irfansenercom talent is the most underrated equaling Eastern Europe salary / quality wise. VC market is in its nascent phase, regulation is not important if you’re going international from there. I predict venture inflow will 10x next 2-3 years because of success of companies like higgsfield

@irfansenercom Super interesting. Biggest constraint there right now: talent, capital, or regulation?

@MattCowlin Very weird, I used to get my expected payment date on Thursdays, and money in my bank account on Friday morning. But now it’s shifted by a day most likely I’d get the money only on Monday… really inconvenient

@kyanbuilds @ozistack its impossible that the reason is just the revenue jump, maybe somebody reported something?

@ozistack Possibly??? It’s not that high. If I had to guess it’s because I went from $0–>$10K in 18 days in April. And then $10K —> $28K in May

nobody in my family has ever left kazakhstan. i just flew half the globe to SF. a week ago, i was in my village of 2,000 people with 3mb/s internet. a year ago, i didn't even know what a SAFE note was. today, i'm 17, standing in sf with $300k raised from top investors to build my startup. now please, go tell someone else that staying delusional is stupid.

@seraleev how did you do all of that with 410k? Was it in 2010?

Getting $410K in my account felt incredible. Here’s what I did: - paid off the mortgage - cleared all family loans - bought cars for both my parents and my wife’s parents - traveled a lot - leveled up our lifestyle - got a budget to chase ideas without worrying about the outcome - gained confidence in myself Should I regret not selling the app for more? No. It was a life-changing sum. And that’s all that matters. I believe the biggest numbers are still ahead. This was a powerful launchpad that opened up a whole new horizon for me. I couldn’t even imagine I was capable of building something valuable. This deal gave me the confidence that I can create great apps used by thousands of people around the world.
Viktor Seraleev@seraleev

6 years ago my app was growing and I accepted the first offer. I had $34k/mo and was offered $410k. I took the money, confident I could build many successful apps with it. In reality, the opposite happened. The next 5 apps all failed. The app I sold grew to $80k/mo just 6 months later (organic traffic). Always think carefully before taking a big offer. Large sums cloud your judgment. Stay focused.

I have the perfect humanizer prompt for writing copy with AI that mixes in some human error to make it virtually impossible to tell it's AI. Comment 'humanizer', if you want it.
