I am genuinely sick to my stomach that such hatred toward a fellow brother or sister can exist inside the human heart. I wish it were not so.

Following this horrific terrorist attack in Sydney, I feel I'm forced to consider the trade-offs of privacy. It feels like there's this growing tension between what we want and what we need. Anonymity as a human right to the innocent, but unrelenting surveillance an expectation for the guilty.
