Composer 2.5 fixed my ADHD coding. It's so fast, I don't have time to do something else. And it's good enough for most tasks, so it's my new default now.

@MarioNawfal Someone should ask @KSAMOFA, do terrorists stop for Hajj and we know that answer is no!! Just check history and how terror doesn’t stop for holidays

🇸🇦🇺🇸🇮🇷 Saudi Arabia has reportedly asked the Trump administration to postpone any further military action against Iran until after Hajj, per Basha Report citing two regional sources Hajj begins May 24 and runs through the end of May. The request effectively pushes any potential strike action into June. Roughly two million pilgrims arrive in Mecca during Hajj. If Iran retaliates against Saudi infrastructure after the IRGC just threatened "crushing blows in places you cannot even imagine," the casualties could include religious pilgrims from around the world. 🇦🇪 Something is being hidden in the Persian Gulf right now. AIS spoofing has spiked sharply northwest of Dubai, with dozens of vessels appearing to cluster in the same position, a pattern that almost never happens naturally and almost always means someone is masking real ship movements. This matters because it's happened before. Spikes in spoofing activity have repeatedly preceded military strikes, security incidents, or regional operations in the Gulf. It's become a reliable early warning signal, not proof of what's coming, but a strong indication that something is being prepared. The ships aren't where the data says they are. The question is where they actually are, and why someone doesn't want that known right now. Source: CNBC

Ambassador Huckabee I completely agree. The flotilla was a Hamas propaganda stunt — we had every right to stop it. But Ben-Gvir’s humiliating video is a national disgrace that betrays our soldiers and values. Proud that Netanyahu publicly rebuked it. Deport them professionally. This is not who we are. Not in our name.
Ambassador Mike Huckabee@GovMikeHuckabee

Universal outrage & condemnation from every high-ranking Israeli official from @IsraeliPM @IsraelMFA @gidonsaar @IsraelPresident @yechielleiter @IsraelinUSA for despicable actions by Ben Gvir. Flotilla was stupid stunt, but Ben Gvir betrayed dignity of his nation.

The cursor fall-off is going to be studied for decades. I don't know any engineer who uses them anymore. Not to say that others don't, but it's obvious that they're no longer on the tech frontier. Still, a $60b outcome in 4 years is nothing to sneeze at...

@_maskapital @michael_chomsky You can’t manually edit the files within the app, it makes you open another editor. That’s why there is an open in editor button. I wish it was all within the app

I'm actually not sure how this happened. Cursor was extremely well positioned yet the Codex app is objectively better from a software point of view. But it wouldn't matter because the OAI prices are unbeatable so even if Cursor software was 2x better I'd still use Codex.

@stonk_daddy Cursor is not going to win. Their model is built on top of an OSS Chinese model that is an unacceptable security risk to many/most enterprises. Using the cursor data to train their own base models is the winner.

Elon diversified his risk and now has two paths to success: Cursor, which would have lost to Claude on its own, now has the compute to scale up Composer thanks to Spacex. Grok Build, which is 12 months behind the competition, now has Cursor data to improve its model (think disengagement data for FSD). In 6 months, either Composer wins and Elon acquires them for $60b, or Grok Build wins and Elon pays $10b for the training data. Two paths, double the chances to win. (Spacex may pay the $60b either way just to acquire the talent)

Introducing Composer 2.5, our most powerful model yet. It's more intelligent, better at sustained work on long-running tasks, and more reliable at following complex instructions. For the next week, we’re doubling the included usage of the model.

At a YC hackathon rn. The YC-backed company sponsoring it their site goes down. Been down for over an hour. Some participants walk up to help. They ask what they uses for caching and the founder responds, "I don't know." This is what happens when you vibecode an entire product. How TF are these companies getting into YC is my question. Like c'mon bro, at least know your own product.

If Claude Code keeps being slow like this while I pay $200/mo (and they don't let me pay more) They will essentially force me to leave to Codex and I don't want to But it's soooooo slooooooooooooowwwww
