@CaptainChaos550 @HeathMayo Is that really your answer? That they didn’t rig hard enough? Lol States should handle elections the way they see fit. If you want to get rid of states’ rights, be my guest. If computers can be trusted to handle medical records, they can be for voting too

They did. There were a bunch of suspicious results in the 2024 elections. Mail in voting should not exist. Electronic voting machines should not exist since there is no way to GUARANTEE results are legitimate. Voter ID and same day elections. Election Day should be a national holiday. Why do you have a problem with those things?

@BigD_Democrat @hutchinson Because BBB was complete fiscally irresponsible crap filled with programs that would sunset after 1-2 years. That was manchin’s objection

@hutchinson When will you answer whether or not Manchin should have voted for Build Back Better considering when he voted for the much weaker IRA it still tanked his favorability? If you think it was worth it, clearly you think losing that seat is worthwhile to get big legislation passed.

Nobody should have to explain the relative value of a Democrat who can win a senate seat in a state that voted for Trump by 40 points. It should only require an elementary understanding of American politics to be able to grasp this.
one dozen rats at a keyboard@PanasonicDX4500

Nobody wants to build a fucking coalition with Joe Manchin, he was an ogre who was only tolerated because he won re-election as a Democrat in West Virginia by promising to replace free school breakfasts with Appalachian coal.

If you think Democrats aren’t rigging elections in their favor by every means possible, you’re just a fucking idiot. I don’t know what else to tell you. You’re staring reality straight in the face and saying “WRONG”. Just look at what th trashbag in Virginia did as soon as she could. The level of stupidity required to say this nonsense requires a willingness to just completely ignore reality.

@PoweredByComedy @reset_by_peer Lmao we can’t get abolish ICE or even defund ICE, just “end the militarization of ICE.” We’re literally watching what it was always meant to be, all while both sides are parading a fabricated immigration crisis.

Libs: vote for Gavin Left: what’s his platform? Libs: what do you mean? Left: what’s he offering? Libs: FUCK YOU, selfish prick, my friends are being killed by ICE, how the fuck dare you make demands! Left: oh, sorry, is Gavin anti-ICE? Libs: no, he wants to triple their budget

@1teriani1 @reset_by_peer @The_Lacey_Belle Obama absolutely started at the bottom of the polls. Biden was at the bottom of the primary elections until Super Tuesday, 100%. Trump began at the bottom of the polls. So that’s the last three presidents. It’s absolutely the case.

Notice how Hasan weaponizes marginalized groups to excuse his third party voting knowing full well they will never win and Republicans take power. Trans people, Gazans, undocumented immigrants: they’re all just a cudgel he swings for his selfish self interest.

shitlibs who don’t care about losing to trump now want you to obey in advance to their hypothetical establishment candidate while there isn’t even a guarantee there will be an election 2 years from now. using marginalized ppl as a cudgel as gavin threw trans ppl under the bus

Actual trans person here: Gavin Newsom made a comment about trans athletes that I don’t agree with but California is still one of the best places to be trans in the country. See the difference? You don’t care about what happens to us, so stop acting like you speak for us.

@sijmister1 @Viceroy_12 Cuomo did all the things you guys keep asking candidates to do by reaching across the aisle and being moderate on all his stances and he got crushed twice. Any disadvantages he had by being hated were more than made up for by the institutional backing, money, and name recognition

@lucidDonald @hutchinson Nope. It's not about the person its about the policy and it appears that America is beginning to realize this. The moment is beyond ripe for a divergence from the status-quo and one of these idiots will fill that gap. Could be Alex, could be a freshman Senator, time will tell

Make your own coalition. If you can’t commit to supporting someone like Newsom over Vance, our differences are irreconcilable and a joint coalition is impossible.
the last of the gentleman sleuths@dravenpop

@hutchinson You’d think you’d learn that coalition requires sacrifice from your centrist project too. Didn’t you say you’d win without the left? How’d that go?

The fact that there’s even a debate about whether or not to consider Hasan Piker opposition is hilarious lol. He just flat out said today that he would vote 3rd Party in a Vance vs Newsom 2028 matchup. He is INDIFFERENT to the consequences of republicans gaining power.

Do they speak english and participate in american cultural pastimes and culture and see themselves as Americans? Or do they see themselves as distinctly Puerto Rican as distinguished from being American?

@JustinFreer3 @keylimesoda @1teriani1 @JoshEakle That's because we have reason and don't jump to extremes like Democrats. Yes, we believe in state's rights, but that doesn't mean we would support a state banning elections. That's not hypocrisy, that's reason at work.

Tim Pool: “I’m not licking the boot. It’s my boot. I voted for it. I’m the one stomping…” This mindset is genuinely pathetic. It’s an alpha fantasy: watching state violence and imagining you’re exercising power rather than the one submitting to it. In no reality is a lawless state you. It is not accountable to you. It is coercive by nature and indiscriminate in its application. The moment Tim Pool stops being useful—if he becomes a critic instead of a sycophant, decides an abuse has gone too far, or is simply in the wrong place at the wrong time—that same boot ends up on his neck. It’s a power fantasy for weak men. They cosplay as rulers while applauding their own subjugation.

ICE is being forced into it because local and state leaders, in Minnesota for example, fail to do their jobs when it comes to turning over illegals who commit crimes. Look at Florida in contrast, our local and state leaders work with ICE and the Federal government to turnover illegals arrested by law enforcement. So the problem isn't ICE, it's local and state leaders willfully failing to do their jobs.
